| 2 | ![]() You start out in the Star Up screen already. Check if you have enough materials and press Ascend at the bottom right of the screen to raise your Aniimo's Star Rank. |

Raising an Aniimo's Star Rank via Resonance Star Up is another way of further bolstering their stats beyond their innate ones. Each Aniimo starts as T1 (1-Star) and the amount of times they must be ascended increases each time they reach a new Star Rank. T2 Aniimo need to be upgraded twice, T3 thrice, and so on.

Each time you ascend your Aniimo, you also give them bonus stats each time they rank up. What these stats are will be dictated by what Star Rank they're ascending to, and their rating will increase as well. As each Star Rank requires more and more ascensions to reach the next one, more stats like HP and Defense will be increased further.
Certain Star Ranks, such as T2 and T4, are level-locked, and your Aniimo can only ascend further once they reach that level. This is why it's important to promote your character, as their current title also dictates your Aniimo's current level cap. Gain EXP, finish Elite Training missions, and get promoted so that your Aniimo can also ascend further.

The number of Capability Awakenings you can do is also dependent on your Aniimo's Star Rank. From T5 onwards, your Capability Awakening Count will start to increase, providing up to 23 additional Awakening Counts upon reaching T7.
Unlike Capability Awakening, Star Ranks cannot be reset. Once you ascend your Aniimo, you cannot revert them back to T1 and you won't gain back the Dewdrop Crystals you spent.
It is thus important to only invest in Elite or Perfect Aniimo, as they have better overall stats than Common or Good Aniimo.

The main method of earning Resonance Star Up materials is to fight weekly Alpha and Omega Aniimo Bosses.
This can be done with Omega Tuckin thrice per week, and attempting these fights won't drop resources anymore after that. Alpha Tubster and Alpha Magmarex can be fought over and over again, though they drop less resources.

The Coilstrike Club in Astra sells useful materials for improving Aniimo, Dewdrop Crystals and Flux Crystals. Dewdrop Crystals are needed in all levels of the ascension process, and Flux Crystals can substitute for any elemental Stones you may lack.
Do note that buying these will cost you Voxel Coins instead of Credits and that there is a limit to how much you can buy.

The Stamp Shop sells 20 Dewdrop Crystals for every 30 Windborn Stamps spent, with a weekly buying limit of 10. This is a total of 200 Dewdrop Crystals, costing 300 Windborn Stamps.
This is a good investment if you want to hit the spending limit needed to unlock other premium items, particularly the Phenomena Crystal, in the Stamp Shop.

Buying the Daily Supply Pack at the Item Exchange Shop can get you x10 Breezy Plains Dewdrop Crystals, though each pack costs 50 Primegy to buy.
How to Restore Primegy and Best Ways to Spend it

Phenomena Crystals, which are required to ascend to higher Star Ranks, are obtained as a reward for achieving victory in Elite Pathfinder Challenges, which are Twine Mode battles against NPCs.
These battles are significantly harder than regular Pathfinder Challenges and require a solid team composition.
All Pathfinder Challenge Locations

A total of two Phenomena Crystals can be obtained from the Companion Handbook: one on the paid track at Level 60, and one on the free track at Level 70.
Is Companion Handbook Worth It?

You can also earn up to three Phenomena Crystals as progression rewards upon reaching levels 58, 63, and 68.
