Snowfield Bouldus Location

Can Only be Evolved from Snowfield Baleetle

Peculiar Rock Ball Talent

Snowfield Bouldus cannot be caught in the wilds of Idyll. Instead, you'll have to evolve it starting from its Lumin stage form - Snowfield Baleetle. You must defeat Alpha Bouldus and learn the Peculiar Rock Ball Passive Talent first to unlock the evolution.

Disintegration Support for Waleetle

Snowfield Bouldus is a Support aniimo that works particularly well with Waleetle. Its skills generate Rock Piles that Waleetle can destroy to apply the Disintegration debuff to enemies. This debuff reduces enemies' Earth Resistance and Movement Speed, and it can stack to further increase the damage they take from Earth-type attacks.

(Ultimate)

Rock Tackle and Clay Ball are Bouldus’ recommended skills for supporting Waleetle. Rock Tackle creates Rock Piles that Waleetle can destroy with Stone Ball Drift to apply Disintegration, while Clay Ball applies Disintegration directly. Bouldus’ Ultimate, Boulder Blast, deals Earth damage and generates additional Rock Piles, giving Waleetle more opportunities to apply the debuff.

Best Personality

Prioritize Instinctive (I) to increase Snowfield Bouldus' Regen and improve its passive EP recovery. Practical (S) is also an option for more damage, since Boulder Blast can deal solid burst damage.

Prioritize Regen for passive EP recovery, then invest in Attack to increase Bouldus’ damage, especially its strong burst damage from Boulder Blast.

Best Held Item

Rarity Legendary
Effects
Core Effect: Equipped Aniimo gain 0.7 additional REGEN per level.
Tier 1 Effect: REGEN +2
Tier 2 Effect: Cooldown reduction +10%. Effect doubles if REGEN is above 15.

Spirited Feather is recommended for its additional Regen, helping Bouldus recover EP and use its skills more consistently. Its Tier 2 effect reduces skill cooldowns, which is especially useful for Rock Tackle due to its relatively long cooldown.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

Rock Tackle IconRock Tackle
【BOOSTED】
Rock Tackle gains a Stun effect for 1 second after it hits the target.

Forming a contract with your held item is not recommended for Snowfield bouldus. The boosted effect of Rock Tackle only adds a short 1-second stun, which offers very little benefit in supporting Waleetle.

How to Play Snowfield Bouldus

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. Use Shrubclaw's skills to break the enemy.
  2. Switch to Snowfield Bouldus and use Clay Ball to apply Disintegration, then use Rock Tackle to generate Rock Piles around the target. If Boulder Blast is available, use it to deal additional Earth damage and create more Rock Piles.
  3. Switch to your Regen aniimo and use an EP recovery skill.
  4. Swap to Waleetle and use Stone Ball Drift to destroy the Rock Piles and apply Disintegration to enemies.
  5. Deal damage with Waleetle's Sandstorm Spin while the enemy's Earth Resistance is reduced.

Generate Rock Piles for Waleetle

Use Snowfield Bouldus' Rock Tackle to create Rock Piles around the target. Waleetle can then destroy these piles with Stone Ball Drift to apply Disintegration, which reduces the enemy's Earth Resistance by 6% for each stack. This effect can stack up to six times, for a maximum reduction of 36%.

When Boulder Blast is available, use it to deal extra burst of Earth damage and generate more Rock Piles. This gives Waleetle more opportunities to apply Disintegration.

Apply Extra Disintegration With Clay Ball

Clay Ball directly applies 1 stack of the Disintegration debuff. Cast it before Rock Tackle so that Waleetle can destroy the four Rock Piles, adding four more Disintegration stacks for a total of 5 stacks.

Use Against Ice Aniimo

Compared to regular Bouldus, Snowfield Bouldus is better suited to fighting Ice aniimo because both its Earth and Ice typing resist Ice attacks. Its Earth-type attacks are also effective against Ice aniimo, allowing it to withstand their attacks while dealing increased damage in return.

Prioritize Support Skills Over Ice Sphere

Snowfield Bouldus' Ice Sphere deals damage by rolling into enemies and bouncing off walls for AoE damage. However, its current skill loadout is still better for supporting Waleetle because it generates Rock Piles and applies the most Disintegration stacks.

Use for Carrying, Mining, and Cooling Tasks in the Homeland

When Snowfield Bouldus is not part of your active party, you can assign it to carry materials, mine resources, and cool the environment in your Homeland.
