Beach Tromber Best Team

Core Aniimo of the Chirpi Family Team

Beach Tromber is best used in the Chirpi Family team to help with wind damage buffs and with reducing the wind resistance of enemies. It also has access to the Waltz movement series that grants a critical damage buff. It can also provide EP every 20s when it switches to a Chirpi Family member during battle.

Beach Tromber's best skills are Waltz and Spiral Blade. Waltz grants a critical damage buff and is essential in a Chirpi Family team. Spiral Blade allows Beach Tromber to inflict reduced wind resistance on enemies to further increase the damage output of the team.

Best Personality
E S T J

Beach Tromber's best personality is E to gain more attack stats to increase the buffs it provides. The last three personalities can be anything, but we recommend S, F, and J, given that Beach Tromber's attacks and skills are ranged.

Breach Tromber's best stats are Attack and Regen. Beach Tromber's buffs scale with attack, and granting it more attack stat is important. Regen helps with gaining more EP when Tromber is on the field for a while.

Core Effect: Equipped Aniimo gain 0.7 additional REGEN per level.
Tier 1 Effect: REGEN +2
Tier 2 Effect: Cooldown reduction +10%. Effect doubles if REGEN is above 15.

Beach Tromber's best item is Spirited Feather. The attack stat you get from the level-ups and potential should be enough to reach the cap of its skills. The important thing about this held item is that it can lower the cooldown of all Beach Tromber's skills by 10%.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

Waltz IconWaltz
【BOOSTED】
Waltz gains the March movement-series buff.

Yes, we recommend forming a contract with the Held Item because it allows Beach Tromber to take the role of Chirpi, providing the March buff for the party. This allows you to slot in another non-Chirpi Family aniimo to provide either more wind buffs or EP recovery.

How to Play Beach Tromber

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. If you are using a full Chirpi family team, use Chirpi's skill rotation first
  2. If not, switch to Beach Tromber and use Waltz and the first Spiral Blade, or use another Support or Regen aniimo depending on the playstyle of the team.
  3. Switch to your Break aniimo or Tubster to break the enemy.
  4. (Optional) Once Spiral Blade is off cooldown and you have more than 40 EP (4 full circles), switch to Tromber and use it again to add more stacks and refresh the duration.
  5. If any movement-series buff is about to expire, switch to Chirpi then use March to refresh the duration. If you formed a contract with Tromber, you can use Waltz instead.
  6. (Optional) If you have enough ultimate charge, you can use Zephyr's Breath before the enemy breaks

Spiral Blade Can Stack

Beach Tromber's Spiral Blade can deal two hits of wind damage to the enemy. The first hit can miss, but the second hit cannot if the first hit landed. The second hit also applies a debuff that reduces the wind resistance of the enemy. This can stack, and reapplying Spiral Blade will refresh the duration of the debuff.

Waltz Cannot Refresh Buff Duration

The best way to refresh the duration of all three movement-series buffs is to use Chirpi's March. You can also refresh them when activating Tubster's trait, Victory Concerto, but it is less reliable than March because you need to break an enemy.

However, using Waltz will not refresh the duration of the other movement-series buffs.

Use Zephyr's Breath If You Can

Beach Tromber's ultimate, Zephyr's Breath, deals damage in a large AoE and grants the party a 30% wind damage buff for 30s. Given that it lasts for 30 seconds and Tubster's trait, Victory Concerto, only activates when it is the one that breaks the enemy, then it is better to use it before or after you break an enemy, but not use it as the means to activate the break itself.

Gains a Higher Resistance and Weakness

Beach Tromber gains the Water element. When paired with Wind, it has higher resistance against Dark. However, it takes significantly more damage from Lightning.

Beach Tromber also gains a Water skill called Water Tornado that deals water damage, pulls enemies in the center, and reduces their EP per hit. We highly recommend not taking this skill because you will lose access to a buff or a debuff if you swap out any of its skills.

If Beach Tromber is not in your active party, you can assign it to passively control the wind and water plants in your Homeland.

In order to unlock the Beach Tromber evolution branch for Beach Chirpi, you'll first need to reach the Student III (Level 40) rank. Upon achieving this rank, spend 1 Report Card to unlock the Magic Horn passive.

Next, catch a Beach Chirpi with at least 6 HP Potential. You can view this by reporting your catch in the Outpost (to reveal its stats). Once its stats are revealed, look for it under Aniimo Management and check out its HP stat. If it has 6 or more, you should be able to evolve it into a Beach Tromber.
