Skills to Equip:

Forest Ignitis serves as the team's main DPS, dealing high damage through its skills, especially on targets with low health. Rookey can swiftly break opponents because of its high Break stat. Fragrancier weakens enemies' resistances with debuffs while also having the ability to provide a shield for better survivability. Hexxin applies Curse through its Trait, which allows allies to recover EP by using basic attacks on cursed targets.

Alternative Aniimo Options

Prismana Turbo IconPrismana Turbo
Pismana Turbo has access to Nebula Burst, which increases the damage dealt by Dark teammates. Pair this skill with Nimbi Burst to receive an extra Attack buff for Forest Ignitis.
Dreaple IconDreaple
Dreaple works well with Dark aniimo with high burst damage because of its Nightmare effect. Forest Ignitis can deal massive damage using Dark Soul if you manage to set up Dreaple's skills to apply Nightmare to the enemy.
Somniwing IconSomniwing
Somniwing can instantly replenish your EP to full using its ultimate. Its Ethereal Light Wave skill is useful for regenerating more EP while Forest Ignitis is on the field.

Best Skills

Dark SoulDark Soul Scythe DanceScythe Dance Dimension RuptureDimension Rupture
(Ultimate)

Dark Soul and Scythe Dance are Forest Ignitis' recommended skill combination. Dark Soul is its main damage-dealing skill, while Scythe Dance deals decent damage and also increases Forest Ignitis' damage whenever it hits an enemy. Its ultimate, Dimension Rupture, is great for reducing enemy HP before using Dark Soul, which sets up the skill to deal more bonus damage.

Prioritize Energetic (E) and Practical (S) to increase Forest Ignitis' damage output.

Prioritize Attack to increase Forest Ignitis' overall DPS. Regen is also useful since it improves EP recovery and helps Forest Ignitis cast its skills more consistently throughout the fight.

Effects
Core Effect: Each basic attack has a 50% chance to deal double damage.
Tier 1 Effect: Restores 1 EP when triggered.
Tier 2 Effect: If EP is full, increases basic attack Damage Amp by 30% for 10s.

Fission Needles is a good choice for Forest Ignitis because it provides additional damage amplification, and its Core Effect gives each basic attack a chance to deal double damage, providing an extra source of damage to lower the enemy's HP.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

Dark Soul IconDark Soul
【BOOSTED】
Dark Soul gains an AoE effect and a higher HP threshold for its bonus damage.

We recommend forming a Contract with Forest Ignitis' held item to boost Dark Soul. The increased HP threshold lets the skill benefit from its bonus damage earlier, which improves Forest Ignitis' overall DPS and makes it easier to deal additional damage to injured enemies.

How to Play Forest Ignitis

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. Activate buffs from your support Aniimo. If you are running Fragrancier and Hexxin, use Secret Fragrance Mark, Black Hole Domain, and Euphoric Sonic Blast.
  2. Swap to Rookey, then use Bouncy Sling and Guardbreak Slam. Alternate between using Rookey's skills and basic attacks to break the enemy.
  3. Once the enemy is broken, swap to Fragrancier and recast Secret Fragrance Mark. You can also swap to Hexxin after to cast Black Hole Domain and Euphoric Sonic Blast in that order. This should ideally activate Hexxin's Prank Trait, applying Curse on the enemy.
  4. Swap to Ignitis and use Scythe Dance twice to fully stack its damage buff. Continue attacking with basic attacks and Scythe Dance, as well as Dimension Rupture if it is available. When the Break damage window is about to expire, use Dark Soul to maximize its damage.
  5. Switch to your Regen aniimo to recover EP, then repeat the rotation.

Build Up Scythe Dance's Damage Buff

Each slash from Scythe Dance that hits an enemy grants Forest Ignitis a stacking damage buff. A single cast can grant up to four stacks, with each stack increasing Forest Ignitis' damage by 4%. The buff caps at eight stacks, providing a total 32% damage increase.

To maximize this buff, use Scythe Dance at least twice and make sure all slashes hit an enemy. Recast the skill when the buff is about to expire to maintain the damage increase for as long as possible.

Use Forest Whirl Against Aniimo with Grass Weakness

Forest Whirl provides the same stacking damage buff as Scythe Dance, making it a good alternative against enemies weak to Grass. Use it to build up Forest Ignitis' damage while taking advantage of the enemy's elemental weakness.

Cast Dark Soul When Enemies Have Low HP

Dark Soul deals more damage the more HP an enemy has lost, making it especially effective against weakened targets. To maximize its damage during a Break window, use it near the end, when the enemy has taken more damage and has less HP remaining.

Dark Soul can also be recast for free for a limited time if it defeats its target. Take advantage of this effect when fighting multiple aniimo to continue dealing damage and also stack up the damage buff it receives from its Battle Fervor Trait.

Use Dimension Rupture to Deal Burst Damage

Use Forest Ignitis' ultimate, Dimension Rupture, during Break windows to deal massive damage to the enemy. This also lowers the enemy's HP, which enables Dark Soul to benefit from its bonus damage against targets with lower HP.

Avoid Using Forest Ignitis Against Wind Aniimo

Forest Ignitis has both Dark and Grass typing, making it very vulnerable to Wind attacks. Avoid using it as your main DPS against Wind aniimo, as it can take significantly more damage from their attacks.

Use for Crafting, Harvesting, and Planting Tasks in the Homeland

When Forest Ignitis is not part of your active party, you can assign it to create handcrafted goods, harvest crops and trees, and plant seeds in your Homeland.
