Can be Found Guarding the Mistwoods

Multiple Hexxin can be found in the Mistwoods region of Breezy Plains. You'll find a ton of them alongside Hummin in the woods.

Best Used in Dark Teams

Hexxin is best used in Dark-centric teams. This is because the effects of Curse that its Prank Trait applies only trigger when the affected enemy is attacked by Dark basic attacks.

Although you can still use Euphoric Sonic Blast with any team to recover some EP, you will lose out on Prank's EP recovery, which is the main source of Hexxin's Regen capabilities.

Spirited Feather is the best held item for Hexxin as it not only provides additional Regen, but also cooldown reduction. This allows it to use Euphoric Sonic Blast more often.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

We do not recommend forming a contract since the boosted effect only restores an additional 5 EP, which is an insignificant amount.

How to Play Hexxin

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. Apply buffs and debuffs using your Support aniimo. If you have Fragrancier, for example, use Secret Fragrance Mark on the enemy. You can also use healing skills like Withering Bloom if you are already mid-fight and need healing.
  2. Swap to Hexxin and use Black Hole Domain for sustained damage and some crowd control. Use Euphoric Sonic Blast afterward to recover some EP.
  3. If Prank is off cooldown, it will apply Curse on enemies, allowing you to recover EP when performing Dark basic attacks.
  4. Swap to your Break or DPS and execute their skill rotation.
  5. Repeat rotation with Support aniimo and Hexxin.

Use Euphoric Sonic Blast to Recover EP

Euphoric Sonic Blast is a damaging skill that recovers 10 EP when used. This skill is free, so make sure to use it often, especially if you need EP. This skill can also be used to apply Curse if Prank is off cooldown.

Cast Black Hole Domain for Crowd Control and Damage

Black Hole Domain continuously deals Dark damage to enemies within its range. Additionally, smaller enemies are pulled towards its center, keeping them in place for the duration of the skill. This is Hexxin's crowd control skill and can also be used to apply Curse when Prank is available.

Apply Curse to Improve EP Recovery

At the start of the fight (and every 18 seconds after), Prank becomes active. While active, the next damaging skill that Hexxin uses will apply Curse on hit enemies. While an enemy is afflicted with Curse, your team will restore EP whenever a Cursed enemy is hit by Dark basic attacks.

This EP recovery is very helpful, especially when using a Dark-type DPS that relies on basic attacks a lot like Ignitis or Pawney.

Use Annihilation Bomb if You Have Spare Ultimate Energy

Annihilation Bomb is a powerful AoE attack that deals large amounts of damage to enemies in front of Hexxin. While this skill is strong, it is better to reserve your Ultimate gauge for your DPS or Break aniimo's Ultimate skills, like Pawney's Ironclad Armament, which requires two bars of Ultimate gauge to use.

Use to Plant, Harvest Crops, and Craft Goods in Homeland

If Hexxin is not in your active party, you can assign it to plant and harvest crops, as well as craft goods in your Homeland.

Theres also a hexxin in the beast fang ridge, its just to the right of the big tree that you can see on the map. halfway between the ruins and the road above it
