The only way to get Somniwing is to complete 180 Objectives in the Elite Training activity. This includes any objective across all 5 activity tabs featured in Elite Training.

  • Core Courses: Objectives are tied to catching aniimo and completing main story missions.
  • Path of Twining: Objectives are tied to catching, collecting, leveling, and training certain aniimo.

Somniwing is a versatile addition to any team thanks to its exceptional EP recovery. Its Ethereal Light Wave and Butterfly Dance skills restore EP consistently, while its Energy Full trait boosts maximum EP even when it's off field or swap Aniimo. These effects are vital for maintaining smooth skill rotations and greatly enhance overall team performance.

However, Somniwing truly excels in teams that demand high EP efficiency or involve lengthy setups. Beyond its strong EP recovery, it only needs to be active briefly to cast Ethereal Light Wave and/or Butterfly Dance, leaving more active time for the team’s main Aniimo to shine.

Somniwing’s best stats are HP and Regen. As a Support Aniimo, it doesn’t require much active time, so prioritizing Regen maximizes EP recovery, while investing a bit in HP provides added survivability.

How to Play Somniwing

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. If you have Supports in your team, use their skills to apply buffs or debuffs.
  2. Switch to your DPS and execute its skill rotation to deal damage.
  3. If the team needs a quick burst of EP recovery, switch to Somniwing and use Butterfly Dance and/or Ethereal Light Wave.

Use Butterfly Dance for Quick EP Recovery

Since Butterfly Dance almost always restores the team’s EP to full, it’s best reserved for situations where the team is in dire need of energy. Using it when EP is already above half diminishes its value. In those cases, Ethereal Light Wave is the more efficient skill to use.
