Add Another Player as Friend

Add Friends

The first step to trading is to add another player as a friend. You can add other players in player hubs such as Astra City or campsites.

Invite Friend to Companion Mode

The next step is to invite your friend in Companion Mode or ask to join them as a companion.

Improve Affinity to Good Friend

Friends Affinity

To trade with the other player, you must increase your affinity with them until you reach the Good Friend rank.

Note that you cannot trade your Aniimos with them if you only have New Friend rank with the other player.

Chat with Your Friend
You can increase your affinity by messaging your friend in your private chat. You can earn up to 20 points each day.

Face-to-Face Interaction
Have Interaction Gestures
Use Interaction Gestures with your friend to increase your Friend Affinity Points with them. You can earn up to 20 points each day.

Send Gift to Your Friend
Send Gifts to Friend
Sending gifts to your friend will also increase your Friend Affinity points. You are only limited to sending 5 gifts per week.

Home in Aniimo
Visit Your Friend's Home
You can visit your friend's home in order to gain Friend Affinity points each day. You can earn up to 20 points each day.

Challenge Dungeon
Explore and Fight Bosses with Your Friend
To earn alot of points every day, you must fight alongside your friend at least once each day. This is one of the best ways to earn affinity points, as it gives 40 points each day.

Alpha Aniimo
Defeat an Alpha or Omega Aniimo as a Team
Lastly, you can team up with your friend in order to fight an Alpha or Omega Aniimo and earn up to 60 affinity points per day.

Trading Frequently Asked Questions

1 When Can I Start Trading Aniimo?
Once you reach the 2nd tier of the Friend Tree called Good Friend with someone, you'll be able to start trading. However, at this tier, you'll only be able to trade Lumin Stage aniimo.
2 Can You Trade Prismana or Sparkling Aniimo?
Sparkling Trade Not Available
No, you cannot trade Prismana or Sparkling Aniimo. Upon reaching the Best Friend level, you'll only be able to trade:
・Regular Area-Variants (e.g., Highland)
・Regular Area-Variants (e.g., Thunderstorm)
・Umbral Aniimo w/ Max 10 Potential
3 Can You Trade Alpha Aniimo?
No, you cannot trade Alpha Aniimo when using the in-game swap feature. Unfortunately, similar to Prismana and Sparkling aniimo, Alphas cannot be traded. The only variants that can be traded at high friend affinity are Umbrals, Area Variants, and Weather Variants.
4 How Do I Trade Nova Stage Aniimo?
Reach the Close Friend tier to start trading regular Basic aniimo. Naturally, this includes both Gamma and Nova Stage aniimo.

Trade Your Aniimo with A Friend's Aniimo

Trade
Just like in other monster catching games, you can trade the Aniimo that you've caught with a friend's Aniimo, so you can fill your Aniilog or just get the Aniimo that you want but don't have.

Can Only Trade 5 Times Per Day

Unfortunately, you can only trade 5 times each day with your friend. Make sure to trade the Aniimos that you want, and save the ones that you want to keep in your team.
