Talk to Odd Hexxin in the Mistwoods

Talk to Odd Hexxin in the Mistwoods

Talk to the Odd Hexxin at the west of Mistwoods to activate the quest. You need to find 5 Peculiar Hummin around the forest and bring them back to the Odd Hexxin.

Talk to Odd Hexxin

Family Reunion Map

Talk to the Odd Hexxin located at the west of Mistwoods. Speak to it who is worried about its missing Hummins.

Your job is to look for 5 Peculiar Hummins (marked on the map) scattered throughout the woods.

Peculiar Hummin 2 - Red Cap

Go to the southwest of Mistwoods to see a Peculiar Hummin playing with Red Caps. Getting close to it and obtaining the Red Cap will make the Hummin move away, so just keep following it and keep obtaining its Red Caps until it stops.

It will decide to go home after you get all of its Red Caps and will drop a chest for you to open

Peculiar Hummin 2 - Platform Hummin

Platform Hummin

Go to the marker near the swamp, on the center of Mistwoods, where you will see a Peculiar Hummin on top of a platform.

Climb the closest platform to you then Fly towards the platform where the Peculiar Hummin is. Talk to it and it will go back home.

Peculiar Hummin 3 - Whack-a-Hummin!

Go to the north of Mistwoods and you will see four small circles on the ground. Approach it and a Peculiar Hummin will tell you to hit it when it pop out of the circles. Kinda like playing whack-a-mole.

Twine with a Hummin and hit the Peculiar Hummin as it pops out of the circles. Successfully hitting the Hummin a few times will make it stop and will decide to go back to the Odd Hexxin.

Peculiar Hummin 4 - Bad-Tempered Hummin

Bad-Tempered Hummin
Go to the marker outside the ruins to the east of Mistwoods. There will be a bad-tempered Peculiar Hummin that you need to fight to calm it down.

Use any Fire-type Aniimo to easily counter the Hummin. Defeating it will force it to go back home and drop a chest for you as a reward.

Peculiar Hummin 5 - Hexxin Ruins

Go Inside the Ruins
Peculiar Hummin 5 MapGo inside the ruins at the east of Mistwoods, while Twining as any small Aniimo like Hummin.

The ruins are heavily guarded by patrolling Hexxins throughout the area, so try to avoid their lights to not get stunned. Follow the marker until you see a small hole in the wall you need to enter to get to the general location of the Peculiar Hummin.

Avoid the Hexxin Lights
Peculiar Hummin 5 Hexxin GuardsOn the other side of the wall, there are more Hexxins guarding the way to the Peculiar Hummin. Proceed with caution and avoid getting spotted by the Hexxins with their lights. Do this until you've reached the Peculiar Hummin.

You can technically brute force your way to the Peculiar Hummin while still being spotted, but it is not recommended as you will constantly get stunned on your way to the Hummin.

Talk to the Peculiar Hummin
Peculiar Hummin 5 Hexxin GuardsOnce you've finally reached the Peculiar Hummin, talk to it and it will go back home. It will also drop a chest for you to open.

Return to Odd Hexxin

Talk to Odd Hexxin
Return to the Old Hexxin and talk to it. All of its Hummins have now returned, and is relieved because of it. The quest will be completed after finishing the dialogue.
