Shrubclaw Best Team

Best Used in Earth or Grass Teams

As both an Earth and Grass aniimo, Shrubclaw can fit effectively into either Earth or Grass teams. It delivers heavy Break damage through Charged Blow and Quake Impact, and its Break efficiency is further amplified once it builds 6 stacks of Momentum via its Stealth trait. In addition, its Tunnel mobility skill allows it to burrow underground, granting immunity to attacks while still being able to use Leaf Slash.

However, Shrubclaw’s setups are often lengthy and consume large amounts of EP, which can be a drawback in fast‑paced, EP‑hungry team compositions.

Best Personality
E S T J

Shrubclaw only needs the E personality for the Break stat. However, getting S also for the Damage boost would be ideal.

Shrubclaw’s best stats are Break and Regen. Break enhances its efficiency in staggering targets, while Regen offsets its high EP consumption. Although HP is not a top priority, it remains a welcome bonus for added survivability.

Effects
Core Effect: Equipped Aniimo gain 0.7 additional BREAK per level.
Tier 1 Effect: BREAK +2
Tier 2 Effect: BREAK +10%. If BREAK Acquired Potential exceeds 15 points, the effect is doubled.

Shrubclaw's best Held item is Gargantuan Horn as it further amplifies its Break damage.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

Charged Blow IconCharged Blow
【BOOSTED】
Charging time is significantly reduced and now applies a 1-second stun to the target.

We recommend forming a contract with the Held item. While the 1-second stun might be insignificant, the reduced charging time makes Shrubclaw's setup more efficient.

How to Play Shrubclaw

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. If you have Supports in your team, use their buffs and debuffs first.
  2. Switch now to Shrubclaw then use Leaf Slash and Charged Blow to Break the target.
  3. Switch to your DPS and execute its combo.
  4. If you have a Regen aniimo in your team, use their EP recovery skill.

Utilize Stealth's Effect

Shrubclaw already delivers heavy Break damage with its skills alone, but it becomes far more efficient once it builds 6 Momentum stacks from its Stealth trait. At maximum stacks, Shrubclaw’s Break efficiency increases by 30%, a massive boost. To capitalize on this, make sure to consistently build Momentum by dealing damage. You can easily build and max out Momentum stacks using Leaf Slash, since each pulse builds Momentum.

Stealth Trait Effects

Use Leaf Slash While Tunneling to Double Momentum Gain

Shrubclaw can double Stealth’s Momentum gain if Leaf Slash’s pulses land while it is Tunneling, effectively cutting its Break setup time in half. Take advantage of this mechanic to quickly build Momentum stacks and trigger Stealth’s buff, allowing Shrubclaw to reach peak Break efficiency much faster.

Leaf Slash Stats and Effect

Move While Charging Charged Blow for Better Aim

Outside of Quake Impact, Charged Blow is Shrubclaw’s primary Break skill. While it delivers massive Break damage when fully charged, proper timing and positioning are essential. To land a successful fully charged hit, move around and face your target so that both strikes connect, maximizing Break damage.

In addition, keep in mind that the damage scales with charge time, with a fully charged attack reaching 120 Might.

Charged Blow Stats and Effect

Use Quake Impact for a Quick Burst of Break Damage

Quake Impact delivers tremendous Break damage, often shredding more than half of a target’s Break gauge in a single strike. If your goal is to Break targets quickly while conserving EP for your other Aniimo, use Quake Impact as a fast, high‑impact burst option to secure the stagger efficiently.

Quake Impact Stats and Effect

Use to Plant, Gather, Reclaim, Mine, and Haul in Your Homeland

If Shrubclaw is not part of your team, it can plant seeds, mine and gather resources, reclaim land, and haul produce to the Home storage in your Homeland.
