Best Used in Wind Teams

Eklue has access to three sources of buffs and debuffs to Wind attacks. Detect Weakness can increase the critical rate of wind attacks. Judgment Storm increases the wind damage of all party members. Target Weakness reduces the wind resistance of the enemies.

That being said, Eklue is the best wind support aniimo currently in the game. Eklue's value will become higher the more Wind DPS aniimo comes out.

Eklue's best skills are Detect Weakness and Arc Strike. Eklue's entire kit relies on Weakness Mark, which can be applied by Detect Weakness to increase the chance of critical hits when dealing wind damage. Arc Strike inflicts a stun on enemies if it has a Weakness Mark.

Eklue's best personality is E. It provides more attack and break stats for Eklue to further increase the strength of the buff when using Detect Weakness, Target Weakness, and when Judgment Storm activates. The rest of the personalities can be anything, as Eklue does not deal that much damage.

Eklue's best stats are Attack and Regen. Eklue's on-field time is slightly higher than most supports. Giving it more Regen is good. Getting more Attack is great so that Eklue can increase the strength of its buffs.

Eklue's best held item is Ferocious Fang. The only important part of this held item is the ability to raise Eklue's attack potential past 20 by adding 2 more points. This increases Eklue's attack stat further to reach the 800 attack cap for its buffs.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

【BOOSTED】		 Detect Weakness reduces the time it takes to apply Weakness Mark by half. Weakness Mark also reduces the damage dealt of the enemy.

We do not recommend forming a contract with the Held Item. Reducing the time it takes to apply Weakness Mark by .4 seconds is irrelevant, and reducing the damage of the enemy is not great, especially when you can entirely avoid damage by dodging attacks.

How to Play Eklue

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. At the start of a fight, immediately switch to Eklue and cast Detect Weakness.
  2. (Optional) You can use Arc Strike now or before the DPS swaps in.
  3. Swap to a break aniimo to take advantage of the buffs.
  4. (Optional) If you have a spare ultimate charge, use Target Weakness before the enemy breaks. Do take note that this ultimate does not deal any damage.
  5. Switch to your DPS aniimo to deal damage amplified by the break state.
  6. Make sure to always switch to Eklue and cast Detect Weakness if the debuff is about to expire.

Detect Weakness Has a Maximum Range

Detect Weakness can inflict a Weakness Mark on all enemies inside the circle regardless of how many enemies are in it. Do take note that Detect Weakness has a maximum range.

Arc Strike Can Inflict Stun

Arc Strike can inflict a stun on all enemies hit that have the Weakness Mark. The stun cannot be applied against bosses.

Use Target Weakness If You Can

Eklue's ultimate, Target Weakness, can inflict up to 35% reduced Wind Resistance on the enemy. If you have the spare ultimate charge, you can use it before the enemy breaks. This ultimate does not deal any damage and you cannot use it to break an enemy.

Do take note that enemies can leave Eklue's line of sight during the ultimate animation.

Used For Wind and Crafting Goods

If Eklue is not in your active party, you can assign it to passively control wind to your Homeland and craft goods to each facility.
