Dreaple Location

Spawns After Completing the Sleeping Flock Event

World View
Map Location

Dreaple will only spawn in Nimbus Fields after you complete the Sleeping Flock event. Then, once that's done, 1 Dreaple will start spawning for every 30 Emberpup-family aniimo you catch (does not stack).

1
Complete the Sleeping Flock Event
The Sleeping Flock event is a Lumin Amber activity located to the west of the First Spark Sanctum in Nimbus Fields. To complete it, make sure it's daytime before twining with a Nimbi. Approach the peculiar leaf tree and interact with it to start napping along with the other Nimbis.
2
Capture 30 Emberpup-family Aniimo
Capture EmberpupsAfter completing the Sleeping Flock event, head out and start catching Emberpup-family aniimo in Nimbus Fields and nearby areas. During the first spawn of Dreaple, a notification will pop up once it appears. However, any subsequent spawn will not get this notification.
3
Capture Dreaple
With Dreaple now on the map, head over to the ruins near the center of Nimbus Fields. You'll find Dreaple sleeping in front of one of the collapsed entrances, waiting to be caught.

Dreaple Best Team

Best Used in Dark Teams

Dreaple can only be used in dark-centric teams. All of its skills can provide dark damage buff or reduce the dark resistance of enemies. The buffs Dreaple gives to any dark-type aniimo can provide up to 85% increased dark damage, which makes it a staple in any dark team.

Dreaple Best Build

Best Skills

Nimbi AttackNimbi Attack Hypnotic Cloud ShotHypnotic Cloud Shot Dream BlastDream Blast
(Ultimate)

Dreaple's best skills are Nimbi Attack and Hypnotic Cloud Shot. Nimbi Attack, when paired with Dreaple's trait, can inflict 3 stacks of Drowsiness instantly if it hits the enemy twice. Hypnotic Cloud Shot inflicts 1 stack of Drowsiness, which can help inflict more stacks if you miss the follow-up of Nimbi Attack.

Best Stat Priority and Personality

Stats to Prioritize

Regen ★★★

P.Def ★
M.Def ★
Best Personality
E S T J

Dreaple's best personality is E to increase its attack stat. This helps Dreaple provide more dark damage buffs and debuffs to the party and the enemy. The rest of the personality can be anything because Dreaple's main goal is to support the party.

Dreaple's best stats are Attack and Break. All of Dreaple's buffs and debuffs scale with Attack, which makes it increase the dark damage of the party. Break is useful for Dreaple because all of its skills deal damage, which helps reduce the break gauge of the enemy.

Best Held Item

Rarity Legendary
Effects
Core Effect: Equipped Aniimo gain 0.7 additional ATK per level.
Tier 1 Effect: ATK +2
Tier 2 Effect: Damage Amp +10%. Effect doubles if ATK is above 15.

Dreaple's best held item is Ferocious Fang. The only important part of this held item is the +2 added potential to Dreaple's attack. This helps increase the buff and debuff it provides.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

Nimbi Attack IconNimbi Attack
【BOOSTED】
Nimbi Attack's follow-up damage follows the target instead of going in a straight line.

We do not recommend forming a contract with the Held Item. It is essentially a quality-of-life change where you increase the chance of Nimbi Attack hitting the target twice. It inflicts the same amount of dark resistance debuff and damage.

How to Play Dreaple

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. If you have a Regen or another Support aniimo, use their skills to gain buffs or inflict debuffs.
  2. When switching to Dreaple, use Nimbi Attack.
  3. Immediately switch to another aniimo while the Nimbi projectile is active.
  4. If the Nightmare stack is at 2 or lower, use Hypnotic Cloud Shot until the enemy has 3 stacks of Nightmare.
  5. (Optional) If you have a spare ultimate charge, you can use Dream Blast.
  6. Switch to your DPS aniimo to deal damage amplified by the break state.
  7. Switch back to your Support/Regen aniimo once their buff or debuff runs out.

Counting Sheep Only Applies to One Target

Dreaple's trait, Counting Sheep, only applies to the first target it hits. The sleep will still be applied to all enemies with 3 or more Drowsiness stacks, but the additional stack doesn't.

Switch Immediately After Nimbi Attack

Dreaple's Nimbi Attack projectile will persist in battle even if it is off-field. Once you activate the skill, you can immediately switch to another aniimo and activate the follow-up attack even without Dreaple on the field.

Nightmare Devourer Consumes Nightmare and Drowsiness

Dreaple's healing skill, Nightmare Devourer, consumes the Nightmare debuff and Drowsiness stacks from the enemy to increase the healing it provides. In exchange for party-wide healing, the enemy loses the debuff and Drowsiness stacks when you use this skill.

Use Dream Blast If You Can

We highly recommend using Dreaple's ultimate skill, Dream Blast, only if you have enough ultimate charge for the DPS or Break aniimo to gain more dark damage buff for the party. Do take note that Dreaple's trait will not activate when using its ultimate skill.

Used For Dark and Leisure

If Dreaple is not in your active party, you can assign it to passively cut plants, harvest crops, and pickle and dry products for your Homeland. It can also produce goods if assigned to the Nimbus Bed.

Change Time from Night to Day With a Nimbi Deployed

The first condition for evolving a Nimbi to a Dreaple can be fulfilled by forming a party with a Nimbi then changing the time from Night to Day. If done correctly, a notification should pop up saying "a remarkable change is about to happen", indicating that you fulfilled one of the evolution conditions.

Learn the Dreamsong after Reaching Student II

Finally, to evolve a Nimbi to Dreaple, you'll need to reach Student II and learn the Dreamsong passive from the Character Talent menu. Unlocking this talent requires Report Cards that you get via game, story, and account progression.
