Capturing Guide: Best Tips for Catching Aniimo

Capture Aniimo by throwing Aniipods at them in Aniimo. Read on to learn how to catch Aniimo and the best tips for catching them here!

How to Capture Aniimo

Aim and Throw Aniipods on Aniimo

Catch Mode
Enter Catch Mode then aim your crosshair at the Aniimo you want to catch.

Throw the Aniipod
Throw the Aniipod at the Aniimo to catch it.

You can capture Aniimo by throwing various kinds of Aniipods at them. You can hover over the crosshair to check the percentage chance of capturing the Aniimo before throwing the Aniipod at it.

Improved versions of the Aniipod such as Aniipod Pro and Aniipod Mega provide a 1.5x and 2x capture chance making them suitable for capturing Nova stage Aniimo.

Throw the Aniipod From Behind

Backstab Bonus

You can capture Aniimo easier by throwing the Aniipod from behind them. Aiming the Aniipod behind the Aniimo you want to catch will increase its catch rate slightly, making this a very quick and efficient way to catch them.

Use the Tweetin' Target Skill

Tweetin

The character skill Tweetin' Target will allow you to toss a rubber duck on the ground that will attract an Aniimo to it. You can use this to distract the Aniimo you want to catch and make it easier for you to sneak up from behind to capture it.

How to Unlock Tweetin' Target Active Skill

Continuously Throw Aniipods

Any Aniipod that does not land on an Aniimo will be sent back to you, preventing any loss of Aniipods during the capture process. With this in mind, you can continuously throw Aniipods at an Aniimo until you catch it.

Use Higher Level Aniipods

Aniipod Capture Chance
Aniipod Pro Aniipod Pro 1.5x capture chance
Tumbler Tumbler 1.5x capture chance but has 3x capture chance for Aniimo that gather through nurture
Aniipod Hyper Aniipod Hyper 2x capture chance
Aniipod Mega Aniipod Mega 2x capture chance
Aniipod Track Aniipod Track 2x capture chance and tracks nearby targets
Aniipod Ultra Aniipod Ultra Guarantees a successful catch
Sparkling Cube Sparkling Cube Guarantees a successful catch and makes the captured Aniimo a Sparkling variant with Perfect Potential

Different kinds of Aniipods will have different catch rates, therefore making some Aniipods more powerful than others. Be sure to find and stock up on different kinds of Aniipods to have a better chance at capturing stronger Aniimo.

Use a Tumbler to Capture Multiple Aniimo

Tumbler

The Tumbler is a unique Aniipod that you can control to catch any Aniimo nearby. It comes with a 2x multiplier for capturing chance, but if you gather multiple Aniimo through nurture, this will increase to a 6x multiplier. This makes the Tumbler very useful for catching multiple Aniimo in the same space.

Use The Bubble Gun Skill

Bubble Gun

The active skill Bubble Gun allows you to use vigor bubbles to prevent the target Aniimo from fainitng. You can use this to keep the HP of the target Aniimo above 1 for a limited time so you can have multiple attempts to capture it.
