Snowfield Waleetle's best team consists of Bouldus, Minespine, and Somniwing. Bouldus is its ideal partner, as Snowfield Waleetle can use Stone Ball Drift to destroy Bouldus's Rock Piles, applying Disintegration to reduce enemies' Earth Resistance. Minespine provides strong Break capabilities, while Somniwing increases the team's maximum EP and provides reliable EP recovery to support Snowfield Waleetle's high EP consumption.

Alternative Aniimo Options

Shrubclaw IconShrubclaw
Shrubclaw is a more accessible alternative to Minespine as an Earth-type Break aniimo. It provides a reliable option for players who don't have Minespine while still helping Snowfield Waleetle's team Break enemies effectively.

Best Skills

Stone Ball DriftStone Ball Drift Sandstorm SpinSandstorm Spin Rock Ball BlastRock Ball Blast
(Ultimate)

Use Stone Ball Drift to shatter rock piles generated by Bouldus to apply the Disintegration Debuff. Sandstorm Spin is Snowfield Waleetle's main damaging skill, dealing consistent damage but consuming EP over time. Its ultimate, Rock Ball Blast, is another strong source of damage that further increases Snowfield Waleetle’s overall DPS.

Focus on Energetic (E) to boost Snowfield Waleetle’s Attack. Higher Attack increases the damage dealt by its skills.

Prioritize Attack to increase Snowfield Waleetle's damage. Regen is also valuable because it improves passive EP recovery, helping offset Sandstorm Spin's continuous EP consumption.

Effects
Core Effect: Equipped Aniimo gain 0.7 additional ATK per level.
Tier 1 Effect: ATK +2
Tier 2 Effect: Damage Amp +10%. Effect doubles if ATK is above 15.

Ferocious Fang is recommended for its increased damage amplification, helping Snowfield Waleetle deal more damage with its skills. Its Core Effect also provides additional Attack, further boosting its overall damage output.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

Sandstorm Spin IconSandstorm Spin
【BOOSTED】
Sandstorm Spin consumes less EP per second.

We recommend forming a contract with Snowfield Waleetle's held item. While it doesn't add any extra effects to Sandstorm spin, the reduced EP cost helps lower its energy consumption. This makes the sill more sustainable to use throughout battles.

How to Play Snowfield Waleetle

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. Use Bouldus' Rock Tackle and Boulder Blast to generate Rock Piles.
  2. Switch to Snowfield Waleetle and use Stone Ball Drift to shatter the Rock Piles, triggering shockwaves and applying Disintegration to reduce the target's Earth Resistance.
  3. Use Sandstorm Spin while moving around to build Overload Energy and deal damage.
  4. Once Overload Energy is full, use Rock Ball Blast to take advantage of the increased damage.

Pair With Bouldus for Disintegration Debuff

Bouldus is an essential partner for Snowfield Waleetle because of its Rock Empowerment Trait. Snowfield Waleetle can use Stone Ball Drift to shatter Bouldus's Rock Piles, triggering shockwaves and applying Disintegration, which reduces enemies' Earth Resistance. This synergy boosts Snowfield Waleetle's damage potential, making Bouldus a key member of its team.

Build Up Overload Energy to Empower Skills

Snowfield Waleetle builds Overload Energy through skill usage and movement via its Overload Engine trait. Once the gauge is full, its next skill deals bonus damage, so keep attacking and repositioning to build energy consistently.

Whenever possible, save the Overload Energy bonus for Rock Ball Blast, as its high damage output makes it a strong choice for taking advantage of the effect.

Bring EP Recovery Skills for Sandstorm Spin

Sandstorm Spin consumes EP per second, making it a skill that requires a substantial amount of EP to maintain. It continues spinning while sufficient EP remains, so monitor your energy to avoid cutting its duration short.

Pairing Snowfield Waleetle with an aniimo that helps with EP recovery, like Somniwing, helps it sustain its damage. Somniwing's Ethereal Light Wave and Butterfly Dance provide additional EP recovery, which enables Snowfield Waleetle to use Sandstorm Spin more consistently.

Take Advantage of Its Earth and Ice Typing

Snowfield Waleetle is better suited to fighting Ice aniimo than regular Waleetle because both its Earth and Ice typing resist Ice attacks. Its Earth-type attacks are also effective, letting it endure incoming damage while hitting harder in return.

Prioritize Earth Skills Over Ice Ball Cutting

Snowfield Waleetle’s Earth skills should be your priority against Ice Aniimo, as they make better use of its primary damage type than Ice Ball Cutting.

Use for Mining, Carrying, and Cooling Tasks in Your Homeland

If Snowfield Waleetle is not in your team, it can be assigned to mine resources, carry produce, and cool the environment in your Homeland.
