Tubster is found as an Alpha Aniimo located in the southeastern area of The Argent Strait. Defeating and capturing the Alpha Tubster will unlock the Aniilog record for Tubster.

Chance to Spawn in Argent Strait Wild Surges

Tubster can appear during Wild Surges in Argent Strait. Nurture the Bloom to trigger a Wild Surge and have a chance of encountering Tubster. Make sure to nurture it using Wind Shards to spawn Chirpi instead of Budclaw.

Core Aniimo of the Chirpi Family Team

Tubster is best used in the Chirpi Family team to help with break damage and to provide the Concerto movement series to complete the full power buff. It can also provide a shield when using Gale Guard to increase the survivability of the team.

Thanks to its trait, Victory Concerto, Tubster gets one of the highest break stats currently in the game behind Rookey and Inferlupa. This makes Tubster a great break aniimo for any team, especially if they cannot find one that synergizes well with their kit, given how self-sufficient Tubster's kit is.

Tubster's best skills are Gale Guard and Resting Whirlwind. Tubster gains a high break damage increase when it has a shield, which Gale Guard provides. Resting Whirlwind is Tubster's main way to deal constant break damage to the enemies.

Tubster's best personality is E for the increased break damage. N for the increased critical rate for a chance to deal more break damage. T and J boost physical defense as well as health for more shield.

Tubster's best stats are Break and HP. Given that Tubster is a break aniimo, it is important to raise this stat so that Tubster can quickly reduce the break gauge of the enemy. HP helps with survivability as well as increasing the shield Gale Guard grants.

Tubster's best held item is Gargantuan Horn. Raising Tubster's break stat helps it reduce the break gauge of the enemy more quickly.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

【BOOSTED】		 Gale Guard gains an additional effect that heals the current party member 30% of the shield when it expires.

We do not recommend forming a contract with the Held Item. 30% of Tubster's shield, which came from 10% of its max health, is low when converted to healing. The shield can also be fully depleted by the enemy before it expires, resulting in zero healing.

How to Play Tubster

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. If you are using a full Chirpi family team, use Chirpi's and Tromber's skill rotation first.
  2. If not, use either a Support or Regen aniimo to buff up Tubster's damage or break.
  3. Switch to Tubster and immediately use Gale Guard.
  4. Follow it up with Resting Whirlind and a few basic attacks in between.
  5. (Optional) If the shield immediately breaks, switch to another aniimo for a while then switch back to Tubster and reapply the shield.
  6. After Tubster breaks the enemy, switch to a DPS aniimo or Cornet to deal massive damage.

Gale Guard Can Deal Damage and Heal

Despite Gale Guard's skill description, it can deal AoE wind damage around Tubster when the skill ends. You can use this to get close to an enemy and reduce their break gauge while gaining a shield based on 10% of Tubster's max HP. This means that Tubster will gain the same amount of shield regardless of how low its current HP is.

Additionally, you heal by 30% of the shield amount if you managed to let it expire naturally.

Immediately Reuse Gale Guard

We highly recommend instantly reusing Gale Guard when you use it to get the shield immediately. This is useful against enemies that do not have access to multi-hit attacks because you need to be hit 10 times during the defensive stance to gain twice the amount of shield. This heavily decreases the amount of on-field time Tubster takes, as well as helps avoid further damage despite having less shield.

Do Not Use Tubster's Ultimate

Tubster's ultimate, Truce, provides a 35% damage reduction from all attacks for 7 seconds. This is not worth using in any fight, and we strongly suggest using the ultimate of another aniimo for more damage, break, or utility such as buffs or debuffs.

Used For Controlling the Wind

If Tubster is not in your active party, you can assign it to passively control the wind to your Homeland.

Catch a Chirpi with 6 Break to Evolve it Into a Tubster

6 Break Potential

The Tubster evolution branch only becomes available once you catch a Chirpi with 6 Break stat or more. After revealing a caught Chirpi's stats in the Outpost, look for it under Aniimo Management and check out its Break stat. If it has 6 or more, you should be able to evolve it into a Tubster.
