Attract a Susuta Using Popota

Piopiota Location

To unlock Piopiota’s evolution line, you must first attract Susutas using Popota. The best place to do this is Echoback Landing. Simply twine with Popota and roam near Susutas until they turn pink and begin following Popota, indicating attraction. A notification will then appear confirming that Popota can now evolve into Piopiota.

Piopiota Best Team

Good Puddle Support for Water Teams

Piopiota works well in Water Teams with Sherro, Panpanta, and Erlath. Sherro is the team's main DPS and relies heavily on puddles to enhance its skills, while Panpanta focuses on breaking enemies. Piopiota provides team healing and can generate 4 puddles instantly with Surf, giving the team a good source of puddles. Erlath provides EP recovery to help the team maintain enough EP to use their skills during rotations.

Piopiota also has its unique Trait, Radiant Charm, which increases water damage for each opposite-sex aniimo pair, but activating this trait can be difficult when building the team, as it requires finding suitable aniimo that meet the condition.

Best Skills

SurfSurf SurgeSurge Wrath of the SeaWrath of the Sea
(Ultimate)

Use Surf and Surge together to maximize Piopiota's healing and utility. Surf is the only skill that can create 4 puddles instantly, which can either be absorbed by Surge to maximize its healing or used by other Water aniimo to enhance their skills. Wrath of the Sea deals damage while also increasing every member's Water damage, making it good for Water teams.

Best Personality

E and S Personalities are recommended to improve Piopiota's damage and break. Having more HP is not preferred, since its healing skill does not scale with the caster's max HP.

Prioritize Attack and Break for Piopiota instead of HP, since increasing its HP does not improve its healing. Attack boosts the damage of its skills, while Break strengthens Surf's decent break damage.

Effects
Core Effect: Transfers 10% of the target's excess healing to the Aniimo with the lowest HP percentage.
Tier 1 Effect: Increases healing by 5%.

Miraculous Fleece is recommended for Piopiota to improve healing efficiency and provide extra healing to the team member with the lowest HP through its Core Effect.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

Surf IconSurf
【BOOSTED】
The boosted Surf skill creates 6 puddles instead of 4, giving Piopiota enough puddles to use for Surge while also providing 2 extra puddles for other Water Aniimo.

We do not recommend boosting this skill, as the upgrade mainly provides 2 additional puddles. While this allows Piopiota to maximize Surge's healing while keeping puddles available for other Water Aniimo, a proper skill rotation is enough to provide the puddles needed by the team.

How to Play Piopiota

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. Use Surf to generate 4 puddles in the field.
  2. Switch to other Water aniimo to use the puddles for their skills. Erlath and Panpanta each consume 1 puddle to enhance their core skills, while Sherro can consume up to 3 puddles depending on how many times it uses Flowing Water Slash.
  3. Activate Sea in Wrath to increase the team's Water damage, and use Surge whenever the team needs healing, and

Set Up Puddles for Other Water Aniimo

Surf creates 4 puddles at once, making Piopiota a great source of puddles for Water aniimo that require them for their skills.

Manage Puddles Between Healing and Utility

Since Surf creates several puddles, you'll need to decide between using all 4 to maximize Surge's healing or leaving them for other Water Aniimo to absorb. Priorize the latter when the team doesn't need healing.

Use for Leisure and Water Tasks in the Homeland

If Piopiota is not in your team, you can assign it to the Homeland for tasks such as playing with other aniimo and watering plants.
