How Many Aniimo Are in the Game?

Aniimo Explained

Rarities Determine an Aniimo's Appearance and Stats

An aniimo's rarity (Prismana, Sparkling, Alpha, or Umbral) determines its appearance as well as its stats and available skills. In short:

  • Prismana aniimo: Special form of an aniimo that gains access to two elemental types and an additional skill. They also get a custom holographic skin.
  • Umbral aniimo: Special aniimo that always roll with Perfect Potential. However, unlike the others on this list, their custom dark tint is temporary since it gets removed when you evolve or transform it.
  • Sparkling aniimo: This rarity is cosmetic only. It adds sparkling particle effects to your aniimo.
  • Alpha aniimo: This rarity is cosmetic only since it only affects the size of an aniimo's model. Alphas are bigger than their normal variants.
  • Blessed aniimo: Aniimo that have swallowed a Lumin Amber. They are not unique and, when caught, they'll use the same appearance as normal aniimo variants.

Trigger Prismana Flows to Catch Prismana Aniimo

Prismana aniimo are usually the best version of select aniimo in-game (plus they get a custom skin). In order to catch them in the wild, you'll have to trigger a Prismana Flow which you can do by nurturing blooms. However, do note that Prismana Flow triggers will happen at random while nurturing a region.

Homeland Abilities are Used in the RV Game Mode

In simple terms, the RV game mode is a factory simulator masquerading as a cozy life sim. An aniimo's Homeland Ability determines the type of work it's suited for when placed in your RV's Homeland work area. For example, aniimo with the Hauling ability can transport your goods to and from collection and storage.

  • Fire: Can cook, smelt, and supply heat.
  • Grass: Can plant seeds and gather resources.
  • Water: Can brew, fetch water, and water crops.
  • Earth: Can reclaim land and mine resources.
  • Lightining: Can manipulate electricity to power your factory.
  • Ice: Can cool your homeland environment.
  • Wind: Can control wind to process products.
  • Dark: Can harvest crops, cut down plant, and pickle/dry items.
  • Light: Can illuminate your homeland.
  • Hauling: Can pick up stockpiled items and carry them to storage.
  • Artisanship: Can create handcrafted goods.
  • Leisure: Can produce items while playing.
  • Perfumery: Required to produce items from the perfume station.

Note: Aniimo you use to staff your Homeland cannot be used when exploring the open world or while doing combat activities.

Element Types Dictate an Aniimo's Strengths and Weaknesses

Your aniimo's element will determine what it's strong against and what it's weak to. As you progress through the game, make sure you familiarize yourself with how elemental counters work in order to conquer the higher level areas of the game.
