Spawns in Berylline Vale During Nighttime

Ignitis can only be encountered in the open world in its Alpha variant. Head over to Berylline Vale and change the time of day to Night in order to spawn it in. You'll find it near the southern end of Berylline Vale.

Chance to Spawn in Berylline Vale Wild Surges

Ignitis can appear during Wild Surges in Berylline Vale. Nurture the Bloom to trigger a Wild Surge and have a chance of encountering Ignitis. Make sure to nurture it using Dark Shards to spawn Wisptis instead of Baleetle.

Ignitis will serve as the team's main DPS, dealing damage with its skills and a flurry of Basic Attacks. Rookey will be the Break Aniimo, capable of easily depleting the enemy's Break bar. Fragrancier and Hexxin will be the team's Support and Regen, respectively, with Fragrancier applying buffs and debuffs, while Hexxin will help keep the team's EP topped up.

Dark Soul is Ignitis's core skill and is used to execute low-health enemies thanks to its damage that scales with missing health. This skill can also be recast for free if it defeats an enemy. Scythe Dance will be its second skill, as it provides a stacking damage buff each time it hits an enemy.

Try to get E and N for Iginitis to improve its damage output. Crit is ideal, as you will be using its Basic Attacks a lot during its gameplay. For the defensive bonuses, any will work, although F and P will give a good balance of defenses.

Prioritize Attack and Regen so that Ignitis can deal big damage while recovering EP quickly, allowing it to reuse Skills more often.

Fission Needles is the best held item for Ignitis as it synergizes well with its gameplay. Performing Basic Attacks will sometimes deal double damage, while also recovering EP when triggered. This allows Ignitis to perform powerful basic attacks and potentially spam its skills.

How to Play Ignitis

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. Activate buffs from your support Aniimo. If you are running Fragrancier and Hexxin, use Secret Fragrance Mark, Black Hole Domain, and Euphoric Sonic Blast.
  2. Swap to Rookey, then use either Bouncy Sling or Guardbreak Slam. Alternate between using Rookey's skills and basic attacks to break the enemy.
  3. Once the enemy is broken, swap to Fragrancier and recast Secret Fragrance Mark. You can also swap to Hexxin after to cast Black Hole Domain and Euphoric Sonic Blast in that order. This should ideally activate Hexxin's Prank Trait, applying Curse on the enemy.
  4. Swap to Ignitis and use Scythe Dance twice to fully stack its damage buff. Continue attacking with basic attacks and Scythe Dance, as well as Dimension Rupture if it is available. When the Break damage window is about to expire, use Dark Soul to maximize its damage.
  5. Switch to your Regen Aniimo to recover EP, then repeat the rotation.

Fully Stack Scythe Dance's Damage Buff

Scythe Dance applies a stacking damage buff to Ignitis for each slash that hits enemies. Each cast of Scythe Dance can apply up to four stacks of the damage buff, with the stacks capping out at eight stacks. When fully stacked, Ignitis enjoys a 32% damage increase.

To maximize your damage output, make sure to use Scythe Dance at least twice, making sure that all of its slashes hit so that Ignitis will get the full damage increase. Recast Scythe Dance whenever the buff is about to expire to refresh its duration.

Use Dark Soul On Low HP Enemies To Maximize Damage

Dark Soul's damage increases the lower the enemy's HP is. As such, maximize its damage by casting it near the end of the break damage window. This ensures that you are dealing as much damage as possible to your enemies.

Another thing to note is that Dark Soul can be recast if it deals the killing blow on your enemy. This is especially useful if you are fighting multiple Aniimos.

Cast Dimension Rupture When Available

Dimension Rupture deals a large amount of damage to nearby enemies. As it does not have other special effects, it is okay to use it when it is available. If you want to maximize your damage, however, it is better to use it while the enemy is broken.

Use to Create Goods and Harvest Crops and Trees in Homeland

If Ignitis is not in your active party, you can assign it to create handcrafted goods and harvest crops and trees in your Homeland.
