Random Occurrence While Catching Aniimo

Lucky Catch (Strike) Occurrence

A Lucky Strike can randomly occur while you are catching Aniimo. The rarity of the Aniipod you are using or the Prismatic Energy state of the area has no effect on increasing the likelihood of a Lucky Strike happening.

A Lucky Strike can only happen while you are catching Aniimo. It does not happen when hatching eggs, as those have a separate chance of getting a higher rarity Aniimo than usual.

Raises the Prismatic Energy State of an Area

Prismatic Energy Indicator

Whenever a Lucky Strike occurs, the Prismatic Energy of the surrounding area will increase slightly. This means that, even in areas with no Prismatic Energy, a Lucky Strike will cause it to appear.

This is most notable for increasing the odds of finding a Prismana Aniimo, which are very powerful and extremely rare Aniimo variants.

Sparkling Crystals Can Drop

Sparkling Crystal Drop

Getting a Lucky Strike makes 20 Sparkling Crystals drop after you catch an Aniimo. These are highly valuable items, as getting 1000 Sparkling Crystals can get you a Sparkling Cube when exchanging at an outpost vendor. Sparkling Cubes are the rarest Aniipods in the game, and can guarantee you a Perfect and Sparkling Aniimo when hatching eggs.
