Aniimo duplicates and extras can be exchanged for Experience Gems, traded, or assigned as Homeland workers in Aniimo. Read on to learn what you can use your extra Aniimo for in Aniimo!
List of Contents

In the Aniimo Management screen, press Manage to select an Aniimo (or a batch of them). You can then press Release and convert them into Growth Buds so that you can invest in other Aniimo.
Note that regardless of rarity, level, or form, Aniimo typically give 3 Growth Buds. This can stack up if you have a lot of lower-rarity Lumin Stage Aniimo to release all at once.

Alpha vs. Prismana Aniimo
Instead of Growth Buds, releasing Alpha or Prismana Aniimo will yield Growth Flowers and Growth Fruits instead.
Prismana Aniimo give the most EXP when they are released, though it is generally not recommended to do so due to their rarity. If you have a lot of Alpha Aniimo from doing your Dailies, then it is better to release those instead.
Extra copies of the same Aniimo can be used for trades if you want to keep at least one copy of the same Aniimo in your account, while providing other players the same Aniimo that you have.
Do note, however, that you cannot trade Prismana, Sparkling, and Alpha Aniimo. You can trade Nova Stage Aniimo as well as variants (e.g., Highland, Sea of Flowers), though you need to raise enough Affinity to be Close Friends or Best Friends with another player first to be able to trade those.

If you have a lot of Grass and Water Aniimo, then you can assign them as workers in your Homeland since these are the types that look after crops. Since there are several crop fields and trees to tend to, especially at higher RV levels, it's good to have a lot of these as the farm expands. Earth and Dark Aniimo are also good to leave in the Homeland since they can reclaim and reap soil respectively for growing new crops.
From RV Level 6 onwards, it's also good to have more Fire Aniimo alongside Earth, as you start producing cooked items alongside having more Mines to dig up.
Homeland Guide: Best Basebuilding Tips
