Talk to Sorora in Echoback Landing

Talk to Sorora in Echoback Landing

Go to Echoback Landing and go to the southeast of the Bloom where you will see Sorora painting.

Talk to Sorora in Echoback Landing
Sorora LocationFast travel to the Echoback Landing Bloom. Go to the southeast of the Bloom where you will see Sorora painting. Talk to him and he will mention the legend of Echoback Landing, where two Echobacks appear at night.

Switch to Night Time and Hit the Blue Crystal
Thorny VineSwitch to night time, and then Twine with a Fire-type Aniimo. Go to the blue crystal nearby that is blocked by the thorny vine, and burn it.

Finally, hit the blue crystal and it will produce a blue trail.

Follow the Blue Trail and Hit the Echonites
Blue TrailFollow the blue trail that appears when you hit the Echonite (blue crystal), as it will lead you to the next echonite that you need to hit.

Clear Obstacles on the Way
There will be some Echonites that are blocked by vines or covered by breakable rocks. Twine with an Aniimo that can burn the vines and destroy the rocks.

You can do this by using the abilities of a Fire-type Aniimo such as Scorchhowl to burn the vines or any Break Aniimo like Helion to destroy the rock.

Obtain the Whalesong Blossom
Whalesong Blossom After following the blue trail and hitting the echonites successfully. A cutscene will play where a big whale will show up. After the cutscene, head to the flower marked by the objective to get the Whalesong Blossom which you need for A Fragrant Journey: Echoback Landing.

Return to the Shore and Talk to Sorora
Finally, head back to Sorora at the shore and talk to him. During the conversation with, you have a choice to pick between two paintings: Symphony of Reunion or Echoes of a Vigil. You will get the painting that you chose as a reward and complete the quest.

You will obtain either the Symphony of Reunion or Echoes of a Vigil painting depending on the option you picked when talking to Sorora at the end of the quest.
