Holo-Battle Sim is a solo challenge in Aniimo where you complete Trainings, strengthen your team, and progress through battles and events. Learn about the different Trainings, Training Styles, Gizmos, Cores, Events, Rewards, and more in this Holo-Battle Sim guide.

Holo-Battle Sim is a solo combat challenge where you complete one of three elemental Trainings: Grass, Water, and Fire. Each Training has four difficulties, with Easy and Normal containing 10 floors, and Hard and Challenge containing 16 floors.
Each Training also has the same progression structure, with different enemies and encounters based on its element. Players can choose a Training and difficulty before starting a run.

Choose between Grass, Water, or Fire Training and its Difficulty level before starting a Holo-Battle Sim run.

Choose a Training Style to determine which types of Gizmos are more likely to appear throughout the run. Your Training Style options are randomized, and clearing a Holo-Battle Sim run refreshes the options.
| Training Style | Specialty |
|---|---|
| Energy | Enhances Skills, Skill damage, Break damage, and EP recovery. |
| Surge | Enhances Ultimates, Ultimate damage, and Ultimate recovery. |
| Defense | Gain combat effects that activate while shielded. |
| Vitality | Combat effects that activate when receiving healing. Its strength is based on the amount of HP restored. |
| Ironclad | Uses Max HP and defensive stats to increase the power of its combat effects. |
| Valor | Damage-increasing combat effects based on lost HP. |
| Wealth | Effects that use or benefit from the amount of Training Coins. |

Progress through the Training by clearing battles and completing different Events. After clearing battles, you can choose a Gizmo, with a chance for a Core to appear as one of the options. You will also receive Training Coins, with High-Difficulty Battles providing more coins than Regular Battles.

Events are the different encounters you can choose while progressing through a Holo-Battle Sim run. Each Event offers a different way to strengthen your team, earn resources, or progress through the Training.
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| Regular Battle | Fight a standard group of opponents to progress through the Training and receive rewards. |
| High-Difficulty Battle | Features stronger opponents than Regular Battles with more waves. These battles are more challenging but provide better rewards, including more Training Coins. |
| Wealth Event | Obtain a large amount of Training Coins that can be used to purchase Gizmos at the shop in Rest Events. |
| Alpha | Fight an alpha aniimo that's more challenging compared to battle encounters. |
| Rest Event | Allows you to either revive a fallen Aniimo or heal all Aniimo in your party for 30% of their Max HP. You can also use the shop to purchase a selection of random Gizmos. |
| Controllable Event | Choose between different options to obtain a reward, including buffs that can enhance your combat performance or improve the amount of Training Coins you gain. |
| Risk Event | Enter an Event with a random outcome. You may receive rewards or be placed into a battle against tough opponents. |
| Omega | Fight the final boss of the Holo-Battle Sim Training. Defeat the alpha aniimo to complete the run. |

Gizmos provide various combat effects and are grouped into the seven Training Styles. Collecting three Gizmos of the same Training Style is used to unlock or improve its corresponding Alpha Transformation.
Gizmos can include offensive, defensive, healing, resource, and other effects depending on their Training Style.
Core Gizmos, on the other hand, are additional upgrades that can be obtained after clearing battles. Core Gizmos are associated with certain Training Styles and provide unique effects that strengthen your team.

You can also purchase Gizmos and Cores from the shop in Rest Events. The shop offers a random selection of upgrades that can be purchased using Training Coins.

Collecting three Gizmos from your selected Training Style unlocks its corresponding Alpha Transformation. Alpha Transformations have high stats and powerful abilities, making them useful for boss fights and difficult battles.
Every additional three Gizmos you collect from the same Training Style unlocks Alpha Transformation upgrades. You can choose between different upgrades that either strengthen your team or improve the Alpha Transformation.

Reach the final Event and defeat the last Alpha aniimo to complete the Holo-Battle Sim Training. Clearing the Training allows you to claim its Training Incentive rewards.
