Rookey will be the Break Aniimo, capable of easily depleting the enemy's Break bar. Fragrancier and Hexxin will be the team's Support and Regen, respectively, with Fragrancier applying buffs and debuffs, while Hexxin will help keep the team's EP topped up.

Best Skills
 Dark Soul Dark Soul Transports itself to a target and attacks. If the target has less than 50% HP left, for each 1% HP lost, increases the Aniimo's damage by 1%. Defeating a target with this skill grants a time-limited free recast. |
 Scythe Dance Scythe Dance Spins to slash, dealing Dark damage 4 times to all nearby targets. Each hit increases own damage by 4%, up to 32%, for 10s. |

Dark Soul is Highland Ignitis's core skill and is used to execute low-health enemies thanks to its damage that scales with missing health. This skill can also be recast for free if it defeats an enemy. Scythe Dance will be its second skill, as it provides a stacking damage buff each time it hits an enemy.

Try to get E and N for Iginitis to improve its damage output. Crit is ideal, as you will be using its Basic Attacks a lot during its gameplay. For the defensive bonuses, any will work, though F and P provide a good balance of defenses. |

Fission Needles is the best held item for Highland Ignitis as it synergizes well with its gameplay. Performing Basic Attacks will sometimes deal double damage, while also recovering EP when triggered. This allows Highland Ignitis to perform powerful basic attacks and potentially spam its skills.

Yes, we recommend forming a contract with the Held Item because it significantly enhances the damage it deals against low-health enemies. Dark Soul also gains larger AoE, which makes it a great skill against groups of enemies.
How to Play Highland Ignitis
Recommended Skill Rotation
- Activate buffs from your support Aniimo. If you are running Fragrancier and Hexxin, use Secret Fragrance Mark, Black Hole Domain, and Euphoric Sonic Blast.
- Swap to Rookey, then use either Bouncy Sling or Guardbreak Slam. Alternate between using Rookey's skills and basic attacks to break the enemy.
- Once the enemy is broken, swap to Fragrancier and recast Secret Fragrance Mark. You can also swap to Hexxin after to cast Black Hole Domain and Euphoric Sonic Blast in that order. This should ideally activate Hexxin's Prank Trait, applying Curse on the enemy.
- Swap to Highland Ignitis and use Scythe Dance twice to fully stack its damage buff. Continue attacking with basic attacks and Scythe Dance, as well as Dimension Rupture if it is available. When the Break damage window is about to expire, use Dark Soul to maximize its damage.
- Switch to your Regen Aniimo to recover EP, then repeat the rotation.
Fully Stack Scythe Dance's Damage Buff
Scythe Dance applies a stacking damage buff to Highland Ignitis for each slash that hits enemies. Each cast of Scythe Dance can apply up to four stacks of the damage buff, with the stacks capping out at eight stacks. When fully stacked, Highland Ignitis enjoys a 32% damage increase.
To maximize your damage output, make sure to use Scythe Dance at least twice, making sure that all of its slashes hit so that Highland Ignitis will get the full damage increase. Recast Scythe Dance whenever the buff is about to expire to refresh its duration.
Use Dark Soul On Low HP Enemies To Maximize Damage
Dark Soul's damage increases the lower the enemy's HP is. As such, maximize its damage by casting it near the end of the break damage window. This ensures that you are dealing as much damage as possible to your enemies.
Another thing to note is that Dark Soul can be recast if it deals the killing blow on your enemy. This is especially useful if you are fighting multiple Aniimos.
Cast Dimension Rupture When Available
Dimension Rupture deals a large amount of damage to nearby enemies. As it does not have other special effects, it is okay to use it when it is available. If you want to maximize your damage, however, it is better to use it while the enemy is broken.
Fire Element Adds More Resistance and Weakness
Highland Ignitis gains the Fire element on top of its innate Dark element. Compared to the base form Ignitis, it now has a 0.65x multiplier when taking damage from Fire, Ice, and Grass attacks. In exchange, Highland Ignitis takes 1.6x more damage from Water attacks.
Despite having the same Dark and Fire elements as Prismana Ignitis, Highland Ignitis does not unlock the Fire Dash skill.
