RookeyAll of Astrid's Aniimo are Thunderstorm and Rainstorm versions of Thornblade, Scorchhowl, and Sherro, and Luminelle, with the majority acting as DPS Aniimo that can heavily drag your HP down during battle. Go for BREAK Aniimo such as Rookey, who can deal consistent damage while guarded into a ball. A long-range DPS, such as Prismana Stellarys, will be a good choice to throw powerful attacks while maintaining some distance.
You will want to keep a Support around that knows any healing skills to keep the party alive. A Regen like Hexxin will also be a good option to keep foes stuck in their places with its Black Hole Domain skill. Since all Aniimo are Lightning types, it's best to consider forming a team of Ice and Dark Aniimo to counter its elemental weaknesses.
Evade Thunderstorm Thornblade's Thorny Rain
Thorny Rain is one of Thunderstorm Thornblade's damaging skills, where it will unleash a flurry of slashes that can significantly reduce your HP and Break gauge. Keep an eye out for its red glowing blade, which is the cue to begin the combo. With Thunderstorm Thornblade on Break, immediately switch to a Dark/Ice DPS Aniimo to deal significant damage.
Watch Out for Falling Star and Lightning Kick
Scorchhowl has two deadly skills that can reduce a chunk of your HP and Break: Falling Star and Lightning Kick. Both movesets will begin similarly, with Scorchhowl jumping into the air before launching itself onto the target area. Once it does, immediately dash away to avoid getting hit.
Raise Shield As Much as Possible
Luminelle has a tendency to cast Lightning Surge as soon as it enters the arena. Keep your defenses up from time to time with a support skill, such as Plateau Nimbi's Cloud Shield skill. This will also be beneficial in the long run, given the aggressive moveset the rest of Astrid's Aniimo have.
Pull Back During Torrent Blade
Torrent Blade is a Rainstorm Sherro's skill that covers a large area of effect and can also inflict tremendous damage on your Aniimo. You will want to pull back once a large water blade emerges from Rainstorm Sherro's position to avoid getting hit.
Dodge Flowing Water Slash
Flowing Water Dash, another of Rainstorm Sherro's skills, is another hard-hitting skill that can significantly lower your Aniimo's HP. Dash away to dodge this skill once a big water slash emerges from Rainstorm Sherro's position.
Astrid Location
East of the Echoback Landing Bloom
Astrid is found next to the shore on a grassy area, east of the Echoback Landing Bloom. He is accompanied by a Thunderstorm Sherro and a Thunderstorm Thornblade.
