Highland Tromber Location

Spawns at the Forest of Falling Stars Beach While Raining

Highland Tromber can be found at a beach in the Forest of Falling Stars area, specifically during rainy weather or thunderstorms. Check the weather conditions first before seeing if they have spawned in.

How to Change Weather

Highland Tromber Best Team

Essential Support for Chirpi Family Teams

Highland Tromber is best used in a Chirpi Family team, where it boosts Wind damage and reduces enemy Wind Resistance. Its Waltz skill also provides a Critical Damage buff, while its Band Member Trait restores EP when switching to another Chirpi Family member, with a 20-second cooldown on the effect.

Best Skills

Highland Tromber's recommended skills are Waltz and Spiral Blade. Waltz provides a Critical Damage buff and is essential for Chirpi Family teams. Spiral Blade lowers enemies' Wind Resistance, further increasing the team's damage output.

Best Personality
E S T J

Highland Tromber's ideal personality is E, which provides additional Attack to strengthen the buffs it grants. The remaining three personalities can be set freely, but S, F, and J are recommended because Highland Tromber's attacks and skills are ranged.

Highland Tromber's priority stats are Attack and Regen. Its buffs scale with Attack, making additional Attack important for increasing its effectiveness. Regen helps Highland Tromber recover more EP while it remains on the field.

Effects
Core Effect: Equipped Aniimo gain 0.7 additional REGEN per level.
Tier 1 Effect: REGEN +2
Tier 2 Effect: Cooldown reduction +10%. Effect doubles if REGEN is above 15.

Highland Tromber's best Held Item is Spirited Feather. The Attack gained from level-ups and Potential should be enough to maximize Waltz's Critical Damage buff. One of Spirited Feather's main benefits is reducing the cooldown of all of Highland Tromber's skills by 10%.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

Waltz IconWaltz
【BOOSTED】
Waltz gains the March movement-series buff.

Yes, we recommend forming a contract with the Held Item. This allows Highland Tromber to take over Chirpi's role and provide the March buff to the party. As a result, you can use another non-Chirpi Family aniimo to provide additional Wind buffs or EP recovery.

How to Play Highland Tromber

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. If you are using a full Chirpi family team, use Chirpi's skill rotation first
  2. Otherwise, switch to Highland Tromber then use Waltz and Spiral Blade. You can also start with another Support or Regen aniimo, depending on your team's playstyle.
  3. Switch to your Break aniimo or Tubster to break the enemy.
  4. (Optional) Once Spiral Blade is off cooldown and you have more than 40 EP (4 full circles), switch back to Highland Tromber and use the skill again to add more stacks and refresh the duration.
  5. If any movement-series buff is about to expire, switch to Chirpi then use March to refresh the duration. If you formed a contract with Highland Tromber, you can use Waltz instead.
  6. (Optional) If you have enough ultimate charge, you can use Zephyr's Breath before Breaking the enemy.

Stack Spiral Blade's Debuff

Highland Tromber's Spiral Blade applies a stackable Wind Resistance debuff that increases the enemy’s vulnerability to Wind damage. Each stack lasts for a set duration, and applying the debuff again refreshes the duration of all existing stacks.

Waltz Cannot Refresh All Movement-Series Buffs

Using Waltz does not refresh the duration of the other movement-series buffs. To refresh all three buffs, use Chirpi's March. You can also refresh them through Tubster's Victory Concerto Trait, but Tubster must Break the enemy first.

Use Zephyr's Breath to Boost Wind Damage

Highland Tromber's ultimate, Zephyr's Breath, deals area damage and grants the party a Wind damage buff. Since the buff lasts a long time, use it before or after Breaking an enemy rather than relying on it to trigger the Break itself. This also lets you take advantage of Tubster's Victory Concerto Trait, which activates when Tubster Breaks the enemy.

Avoid Using Against Fire Aniimo

Unlike regular Tromber, Highland Tromber's Grass typing makes it weak to Fire attacks. This makes it less suitable for battles against Fire aniimo, so consider using regular Tromber for these matchups if you want to avoid this defensive disadvantage.

Leaf Tornado Has Limited Team Synergy

Highland Tromber’s Leaf Tornado deals more damage after absorbing a water puddle, but setting this up requires a Water aniimo that can create puddles. Since Tromber mainly supports the Chirpi Family’s Wind damage, prioritize its Wind skills to support the team to deal more wind damage instead.

Use for Controlling the Wind and Planting Seeds in the Homeland

If Highland Tromber is not in your active party, you can assign it to passively control the wind and plant seeds in your Homeland.
