Luminelle Location
Tideblossom Coast After Following a Shooting Star at Night
The Luminelle appears as a shooting star during the night. Wait for it to land at the Tideblossom Coast region, and it will appear as an Alpha Aniimo.
Witness the Shooting Star Landing
The Alpha Luminelle only spawns if you witness it landing at its destination. If you miss it, it bounces off its landing point and flies around the night sky again until it decides to land again.
Chance to Spawn in Tideblossom Coast Wild Surges
Luminelle can appear during Wild Surges in Tideblossom Coast. Nurture the Bloom to trigger a Wild Surge and have a chance of encountering Luminelle. Make sure to nurture it using Lightning Shards to spawn Bulbly instead of Fahloo.
Luminelle Best Team
Best Used in Lightning Teams
Luminelle has access to party buffs tied to the lightning element when using Lightning Surge or Self-Destruction. Luminelle's trait, Arc Surge, also grants more lightning damage buffs to the party whenever it uses a buff skill. Despite having access to healing skills, Luminelle can only heal party members that are on the field.
That being said, Luminelle is still the best lightning support aniimo currently in the game.

Luminelle's best skill is Lightning Surge, which grants a lightning basic attack buff as well as an increase in break damage. Swift Retreat allows Luminelle to dash backwards and apply a slow effect on the enemies.

Luminelle should have E to gain more Attack stats to increase the buff it provides. F and J help gain more magical defense and HP to reduce damage from most ranged attacks and skills. It doesn't matter if you get S or N because Luminelle doesn't do damage anyway. |

Luminelle's best stats are HP and Attack. It is important to raise Luminelle's survivability with more HP. Luminelle's buffs scale with Attack, which makes the Attack stat worth getting.

Luminelle's best held item is Ferocious Fang. It gives more Attack stat to further increase the buff it provides to the party. The rest of the effects are irrelevant for Luminelle.
How to Play Luminelle
Recommended Skill Rotation
- Immediately use Lightning Surge when you enter a fight.
- Swap to a break aniimo to take advantage of the increased break damage.
- (Optional) If you have a spare ultimate charge, use Self-Destruction before the enemy breaks.
- Switch to your DPS aniimo to deal damage amplified by the break state.
- (Optional) If the enemy is mobile or you are about to get attacked when you switch to Luminelle, use Swift Retreat to dodge.
Lightning Surge Grants Lightning Buffs
Lightning Surge provides a lightning basic attack and a break damage buff. Outside of Luminelle's ultimate, this is the only way for you to activate its trait, Arc Surge, which grants a lightning damage buff for the party.
Heal Does Not Apply to Off-Field Allies
Luminelle's healing skills only apply to itself and allies in the field. If your allies are off-field, Luminelle cannot heal them. However, you can swap out Swift Retreat for Water Rush if you need to steal EP from enemies, or Healing Impact if you need access to a status effect removal.
Use Self-Destruction If You Can
We highly recommend using Luminelle's ulltimate skill, Self-Destruction, only if you have enough ultimate charge for the DPS or Break aniimo too. Otherwise, the buff it provides is less than using a powerful damaging skill or a way to quickly break an enemy.
Used For Electricity and Crafting Goods
If Luminelle is not in your active party, you can assign it to passively provide electricity to your Homeland and craft goods to each facility.
