This Capability Awakening Guide shows how to raise Aniimo's Acquired Potential. Read to learn how to raise Acquired Potential, what materials to use, and how to get them.

Capability Awakening is the main method of raising your Aniimo's Acquired Potential. Note that Acquired Potential is different from Innate Potential, which are your Aniimo's natural Potential stats after hatching or getting caught.
Raising Acquired Potential, specifically the stats your Aniimo wants (e.g. ATK for DPS, Regen for Support), is how they become more effective in battle. Potential Levels are maxed out at 20, though you can exceed this by having bonuses (shown by the blue numbers next to the Potential Level) from either raising your Star Rank or equipping certain Held Items.
The game will recommend which stats to aim for when raising your Aniimo's Acquired Potential, indicated by a blue thumbs-up icon beside the desired stat. However, make sure not to neglect the other stats, as well. For example, your Aniimo should always have a level or two invested in HP, as you lose once all of your Aniimo are down.

| Level | Capability Awakening Count |
|---|---|
| Levels 1-44 | 5 |
| Level 45 | 10 |
| Level 55 | 20 |
| Level 60 | 30 |
Upon reaching Level 45, your aniimo's Capability Awakening Count will increase to 10. This increases again to 20 once they hit Level 55, before capping at 30 once they are Level 60.
Level up your character and get promoted via beating Elite Training Guide missions to increase the level cap of your Aniimo.

| T6 | +8 |
| T7 | +10 |
The number of Capability Awakenings you can do is also dependent on your Aniimo's Star Rank. From T5 onwards, your Capability Awakening Count will also increase, providing up to 23 additional Awakening Counts upon reaching T7.
How to Raise Resonance Star Rank

If you want to redo raising your Aniimo's stats, you can reset their Awakened Capability as long as they are not above Level 60 yet. Once they are past Level 60, all stats raised are permanent and cannot be reset anymore.
If you reset, all Star Dust, Star Sand, and Starcryst Essence consumed will be refunded. Resets are also unlimited (as long as you have enough Credits), so be sure to experiment with raising your Aniimo's stats before committing to leveling them up fully.

The main method of earning Capability Awakening materials is to fight weekly Alpha and Omega Aniimo Bosses. This can be done thrice per week, and attempting these fights won't drop resources anymore after that.
Omega Sherro is the best resource for Star Dust (x10) and Star Sand (x4), while Omega Infergon is the only one who drops Starcryst Essence (x2).

The Coilstrike Club in Astra sells useful materials for improving Aniimo, including Star Dust and Star Sand. Do note that buying these will cost you Voxel Coins instead of Credits and that there is a limit to how much you can buy.

The Stamp Shop sells 5 Star Dust for every 20 Windborn Stamps spent, with a weekly buying limit of 10. This is a total of 50 Star Dust, costing 200 Windborn Stamps. This is a good investment if you want to hit the spending limit needed to unlock other premium items in the Stamp Shop.

Buying the Daily Supply Pack at the Item Exchange Shop can get you 3 Star Dust and 1 Star Sand, though each pack costs 50 Primegy to buy. If you have an excess amount of Star Dust, you can also exchange it for more Star Sand here.
