Somniwing can be a replacement for Rookey for maximum EP recovery.

(Ultimate)

Aquatic Glide is Rainstorm Stellarys' exclusive Water skill and main source of damage. It has the aniimo glide above the ground while dropping star-shaped water droplets. While it does decent damage on its own, casting Shadow Magic first before Aquatic Glide makes the clone also perform the skill, doubling the damage output.

Get I to improve Rainstorm Stellarys' Regen stat, allowing it to get energy faster and spam skills more. S is your next priority to improve the overall damage output of Rainstorm Stellarys. Finally, get T and P if possible to increase its survivability.

Prioritize Attack to increase Rainstorm Stellarys' damage output, followed by Regen to allow it to recover energy and spam skills faster.

Best Held Item

Effects
Core Effect: Each basic attack has a 50% chance to deal double damage.
Tier 1 Effect: Restores 1 EP when triggered.
Tier 2 Effect: If EP is full, increases basic attack Damage Amp by 30% for 10s.

Fission Needles is the best held item for Rainstorm Stellarys as it synergizes well with its gameplay loop, which involves using its Basic Attacks while empowered. Additionally, the EP recovery that Fission Needles provides allows Rainstorm Stellarys to use its skills with ease. Lastly, Rainstorm Stellarys can easily reapply Fission Needle's Tier 2 effect, further increasing the Damage Amp that it receives from the held item.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

Shooting Stars (Stellarys) IconShooting Stars (Stellarys)
【BOOSTED】
Shooting Stars now shoots more stars and has an increased cap for the Damage Boost stacks.

We don't recommend forming a contract with the Held item simply because you won't be using Shooting Stars as your main damage skill.

How to Play Thunderstorm Scorchhowl

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. Use Fragrancier's Fragrance Bomb to amplify the team's Dark elemental damage.
  2. Switch to Rookey and use Bouncy Sling and Ballistic Guard to Break enemies.
  3. Switch then to Erlath and use the Crazy Bubbles skill to empower Aquatic Glide's damage output.
  4. You can switch back to Fragrancier again to use Secret Fragrance Mark.
  5. Switch now to Rainstorm Stellarys and use Shadow Magic to create a clone then use Aquatic Glide. Follow up with basic attacks afterwards.
  6. If needed, switch to a Regen aniimo and use its skills to recovery EP for the team.

Use Against Enemies Weak to Dark and/or Water

As a dual Dark/Water type, Rainstorm Stellarys is effective against enemies weak to either element, giving it broad flexibility in elemental matchups. While no aniimo is weak to both Dark and Water simultaneously, those with dual typings that include weaknesses to either element still take significantly increased damage, allowing Rainstorm Stellarys to exploit multiple vulnerabilities at once.

An example of this is Shrubclaw, which is both Grass and Earth. Since Grass is weak to Dark and Earth is weak to Water, Shrubclaw takes increased damage from Rainstorm Stellarys.

However, its dual typing also means it takes additional damage from more elements compared to its basic form, namely Light, Wind, Lightning, Grass, and Ice.

Play Around Shadow Magic's Clone

Rainstorm Stellarys' core gameplay revolves around utilizing Shadow Magic's clone to amplify its damage output. Whenever Rainstorm Stellarys casts a skill or performs a basic attack, the clone mimics its actions but only deals 20% of the damage. In particular, when Rainstorm Stellarys uses Aquatic Glide, the clone also glides forward just like the aniimo, dealing damage and applying all effects.

Shadow Magic Stats and Effect

Utilize Grand Sorcerer's Buff

Whenever Rainstorm Stellarys uses a skill, its Grand Sorcerer Trait activates. This Trait temporarily adds an extra instance of damage to Rainstorm Stellarys' basic attacks. To take advantage of this, make sure to weave in basic attacks between each skill cast.

Grand Sorcerer Trait Effects

Take Advantage of Aquatic Glide's Special Effect and Mechanic

Aquatic Glide is Rainstorm Stellarys' exclusive Water skill. It has a special effect and mechanic that are central to the aniimo's effectiveness in battle. Its special effect reduces the target's Energy by 3 per hit, while its special mechanic enables Rainstorm Stellarys to attack while moving after maintaining the skill for 4 seconds.

The special effect is extremely useful in PvP and Pathfinder challenges, as it drains the opponent's EP, limiting their skill usage and disrupting their combos. The effect also applies to Shadow Magic's clone when it mimics Aquatic Glide. The attack-while-moving mechanic, on the other hand, allows Rainstorm Stellarys to remain mobile while consistently applying pressure.

How to Unlock Aquatic Glide

Use Comet Aureus When Available

Rainstorm Stellarys' Ultimate Skill, Comet Aureus, deals a huge amount of damage to a single target. Make sure to use Comet Aureus when it is available to deal massive damage to enemies, especially if they are Broken.

Comet Aureus Stats and Effect

Use to Water, Harvest, and Produce Items in Your Homeland

Only the ingame marker can be wrong too, you know it shows the same as here, but the stellarys can still be on the peninsula.
