Found in Russet Highlands

Helgon Map Location

Helgon can be found in certain locations in the Russet Highlands. You can normally find them flying while clutching a Helmut in their claws.

Chance to Spawn in Russet Highlands Wild Surges

Helgon can appear during Wild Surges in Russet Highlands. Nurture the Bloom to trigger a Wild Surge and have a chance of encountering Helgon. Make sure to nurture it using Wind Shards to spawn Jawling and Helmwhelp instead of Helmut.

Best Used in Wind Teams

Helgon can fit perfectly in many teams as it doesn't have specific synergies with any aniimo. It has access to many break damage buffs with its Wind Counter and Counter Strike trait. However, to get the most out of Helgon, it is best to pair it with Wind or Light aniimo as they share the same advantage against Dark aniimo.

Helgon's best skills are Wind Counter and Overcharged Claw Strike. Wind Counter allows Helgon to reduce the damage it takes and deal damage to enemies nearby. If perfectly timed, it can even increase Helgon's Break efficiency. Overcharged Claw Strike, on the other hand, is a fast single-hit wind skill that deals decent damage and break for 20 EP.

Helgon's best personality is E and S to increase its break stat and further boost the damage it deals. This allows Helgon to quickly remove the break gauge of the enemy. The rest of the personality can be anything.

Helgon's best stats are Break and Regen. The Break stat allows Helgon to deal more damage and break enemies. Regen helps increase EP recovery when Helgon is on the field.

Tier 2 Effect: BREAK +10%. If BREAK Acquired Potential exceeds 15 points, the effect is doubled.

Gargantuan Horn is the best held item for Helgon thanks to its ability to increase its Break stat by a sizable amount, especially with its Tier 2 effect.

Should You Form a Contract with Your Held Item?

【BOOSTED】		 Wind Counter removes its movement restriction and allows Helgon to move and use skills during Wind Counter.

We do not recommend forming a contract with the Held Item. While boosting the skill makes Wind Counter easier to use and more flexible, it is better to use the materials for contracting on other aniimo, like your main DPS.

How to Play Helgon

Recommended Skill Rotation

  1. This skill rotation works best if you enter a fight with one full bar of Ultimate ready to use.
  2. Use either a Support or Regen aniimo to buff up Tubster's damage or break.
  3. Switch to Helgon. If the enemy is about to attack, use Wind Counter. Otherwise, continue using Overcharged Claw Strike to reduce the break gauge of the enemy.
  4. (Optional) If you have two or more ultimate charges, use Skyfall.
  5. Once the enemy breaks, switch to your DPS aniimo and do its skill rotation.
  6. Repeat the rotation after the enemy regains its break gauge.

Perfectly Timed Wind Counter Increases Break Damage

Helgon's core skill, Wind Counter, allows it to take a defensive stance and reduce the damage it takes by 20%. Recasting the skill will deal wind damage around it. If you manage to use Wind Counter right before Helgon takes damage, it will immediately recast the skill and deal more damage, while also granting a 20% Break damage buff.

Take Damage to Gain More Break Damage

Helgon's trait, Counter Strike, gives a 25% break damage increase whenever it takes damage. Do take note that this trait will not activate if anybody other than Helgon gets hit.

Use Helgon's Ultimate If You Can

We highly recommend using Helgon's ultimate skill, Skyfall, only if you have enough ultimate charge for the DPS or Support aniimo too. It is a fast-moving skill that deals high break damage in an area.

Used to Control the Wind and Carry Items

If Helgon is not in your active party, you can assign it to passively control the wind of specific facilities in your Homeland. It can also carry items from your storage to your facilities and vice versa.
