This page shows the best Water-type Aniimo in the game. Find out which Water-type Aniimo to use and why here.
List of Contents
The best Water Aniimo to use include Sherro for DPS, Panpanta for Break, Piopiota for Support, Erlath for Regen, and Prismana Glacy for healing. These Aniimo excel in their respective roles, providing strong damage, utility, and support for various Water team compositions.
The rankings are based on the Aniimo's overall effectiveness in combat, taking into account not only their overall stats, but also their innate Skills and Traits.
| Tier | Explanation |
|---|---|
| S-tier Aniimo are the best units in the game. They deliver maximum damage, superior utility, and unmatched breaking power while remaining extremely easy to use across multiple team setups. | |
| A-tier Aniimo are highly powerful, but they fall short of S-tier performance by having slightly lower damage ceilings or less impactful utility. They typically demand dedicated team compositions or strict rotations to maximize their output and support capabilities, making them less efficient overall. | |
| B-tier Aniimo are average units that fall noticeably behind the A-tier in raw damage and overall utility. Even when placed in the correct team setup, their support and breaking capabilities are strictly moderate, requiring you to put in much more investment for results that higher tiers achieve easily. | |
| C-tier Aniimo are below average in most metric, from damage to supporting value. Their support and breaking capabilities require heavy investment just to function at a basic level, so they should not be a priority if your resources are limited. | |
| D-tier Aniimo offer the lowest overall value, falling significantly behind the rest of the roster. You should only dedicate resources to them if you personally favor the unit. |
In this tier list, forms are evaluated based on their innately unlocked skills. The new abilities brought by alternate forms are compared against the unit's entire kit to determine if they provide a distinct advantage over the base version. If a form's new skills fail to offer an upgrade, the units are then ranked according to how difficult they are to obtain. In such cases, if a form requires significant effort to obtain but provides no clear combat advantage, players are better off retaining the base form.
Another major factor when deciding form placement is the element they obtain. Acquiring a secondary element affects their overall elemental defenses, as the weaknesses and resistances stack on top of each other. A good example is Prismana Fulmintis, which receives approximately x2.5 damage against Dark due to its combined Lightning and Light elements, making it more vulnerable against Dark enemies than the base form.
Having dual elements is not inherently bad, as STAB (Same-Type Attack Bonus) increases matching type damage by approximately 15-25%. While this damage boost is considered in the tier list, resistances remain the focus because their higher multipliers affect matchups more noticeably.
| Aniimo | Explanation |
|---|---|
Prismana Glacy
|
Prismana Glacy is one of the most versatile Heal aniimo that provides a teamwide damage boost and off-field healing. Its low EP cost and minimal on-field time make it easy to fit into most teams and rotations, even outside of Water Teams. Its Water and Light typing gives it only two weaknesses while allowing it to take significantly reduced damage from Fire and Water attacks. |
| Aniimo | Explanation |
|---|---|
Erlath
|
Erlath is a good Regen aniimo that restores EP especially for Water Teams using Bubbles. Its Ultimate also boosts Water damage, making it a great unit for Water Teams. |
Panpanta
|
Panpanta is a decent Break aniimo that can also create water puddles to support other Water Units. Hydro Roll provides strong Break potential, although a bit clunky to use against enemies that move all over the field. |
Nighttime Panpanta
|
Nighttime Panpanta is similar to regular Panpanta, as it fills the role of creating water puddles and breaking enemies to support Water units. |
Prismana Panpanta
|
Prismana Panpanta retains regular Panpanta's Break utility but it has access to Water Cannonade, which applies 5 stacks of Water Debuff to enemies. Unlike other teams, Water teams currently doesn't have any other ways of stacking Water Debuffs |
Piopiota
|
Piopiota provides healing and has the ability to create 4 puddles at once using Surf. However, to make its healing actually effective, Surge needs to absorb 4 puddles. |
Sherro
|
Sherro is a strong Water DPS that can enhance his skills by using water terrain or puddles. It can deal high damage with the right setup, but relies on other Water aniimo to consistently create puddles and enhance its skills. |
Thunderstorm Sherro
|
Thunderstorm Sherro retains its role as a Water DPS while gaining the Lightning element and Thunder Slam. Its additional Lightning element gives it more resistances, but also makes it more vulnerable from Ice attacks. |
Prismana Sherro
|
Prismana Sherro has the Light element and Prismana Slam, which provides Super Armor to resist interruptions while attacking. Its Water and Light typing makes it weak only to Lightning and Ice while further reducing damage taken from Fire and Water. |
| Aniimo | Explanation |
|---|---|
Glacy
|
Glacy is a reliable Heal aniimo that can restore the team's HP. However, it offers less utility than Prismana Glacy and its added Ice element makes it take neutral damage from Fire and Earth attacks instead of resisting them. |
Sea of Flowers Glacy
|
Sea of Flowers Glacy shares regular Glacy's Water and Ice typing and its neutral damage taken from Fire and Earth attacks. |
Snowfield Glacy
|
Snowfield Glacy can use Ice Orb to freeze enemies for a few seconds, giving it some use in PvP. Similar to the regular Glacy, it also has the issue of not resisting Fire and Earth attacks because of its Ice typing. |
Fahloo
|
Fahloo can recover EP through the same skills as Erlath, but lacks Crazy Bubbles, making it a weaker support overall. |
| Aniimo | Explanation |
|---|---|
Pranky
|
Pranky has lower healing than its Nova stage evolution, limiting its effectiveness as a Heal aniimo. |
Sea of Flowers Pranky
|
Sea of Flowers Pranky has lower healing and limited support utility compared to its Nova stage evolution. |
Snowfield Pranky
|
Snowfield Pranky has lower healing than its Nova stage evolution, reducing its effectiveness in sustaining the team. |
| Aniimo | Explanation |
|---|---|
Popota
|
Popota is a weaker Break aniimo than Panpanta since it lacks Hydro Roll, the main skill for reducing the enemy's Break Gauge. |
Nighttime Popota
|
Nighttime Popota has the same limitations as regular Popota, lacking Hydro Roll and having weaker Break potential than Panpanta. |
Nighttime Susuta
|
Nighttime Susuta lacks Hydro Roll and has lower overall stats, further limiting its Break potential. |
Sea of Flowers Skippy
|
Sea of Flowers Skippy has lower HP than Glacy, resulting in weaker healing. |
Sheldon
|
Sheldon is the pre-evolution of Sherro and fills the same DPS role, but lacks Flowing Water Slash, an important source of damage in Sherro's kit. Its other skills also deal less damage, resulting in significantly lower overall DPS. |
Shelly
|
Shelly has lower Attack than Sheldon, resulting in a much lower damage output. |
Skippy
|
Skippy is the Lumin stage evolution of Glacy, but its lower HP results in weaker healing than its Nova stage evolution. |
Snowfield Skippy
|
Snowfield Skippy has lower stats than Glacy, resulting in the same low healing output as other Skippy variants. |
Susuta
|
Susuta lacks Hydro Roll, limiting its ability to effectively reduce the enemy's Break Gauge. |
