This is a list of the best Wind-type Aniimo in the game. Find out the best Wind-type Aniimo and their explanations here!
List of Contents
The best Wind aniimo to use are Cornet for DPS, Tubster for Break, Tromber or Turbo for Support, and Somniwing or Eklue for the Regen or another Support.
If you want to form a Chirpi family team, Cornet, Tubster, and Tromber are a must as they synergize with each other. Otherwise, you can use Turbo for a universal damage buff and shield, Eklue for more wind damage buffs and critical rate for the party, and Somniwing if the team lacks EP recovery.
| Tier | Explanation |
|---|---|
| S-tier Aniimo are the best units in the game. They deliver maximum damage, superior utility, and unmatched breaking power while remaining extremely easy to use across multiple team setups. | |
| A-tier Aniimo are highly powerful, but they fall short of S-tier performance by having slightly lower damage ceilings or less impactful utility. They typically demand dedicated team compositions or strict rotations to maximize their output and support capabilities, making them less efficient overall. | |
| B-tier Aniimo are average units that fall noticeably behind the A-tier in raw damage and overall utility. Even when placed in the correct team setup, their support and breaking capabilities are strictly moderate, requiring you to put in much more investment for results that higher tiers achieve easily. | |
| C-tier Aniimo are below average in most metric, from damage to supporting value. Their support and breaking capabilities require heavy investment just to function at a basic level, so they should not be a priority if your resources are limited. | |
| D-tier Aniimo offer the lowest overall value, falling significantly behind the rest of the roster. You should only dedicate resources to them if you personally favor the unit. |
In this tier list, forms are evaluated based on their innately unlocked skills. The new abilities brought by alternate forms are compared against the unit's entire kit to determine if they provide a distinct advantage over the base version. If a form's new skills fail to offer an upgrade, the units are then ranked according to how difficult they are to obtain. In such cases, if a form requires significant effort to obtain but provides no clear combat advantage, players are better off retaining the base form.
Another major factor when deciding form placement is the element they obtain. Acquiring a secondary element affects their overall elemental defenses, as the weaknesses and resistances stack on top of each other. A good example is Prismana Fulmintis, which receives approximately x2.5 damage against Dark due to its combined Lightning and Light elements, making it more vulnerable against Dark enemies than the base form.
Having dual elements is not inherently bad, as STAB (Same-Type Attack Bonus) increases matching type damage by approximately 15-25%. While this damage boost is considered in the tier list, resistances remain the focus because their higher multipliers affect matchups more noticeably.
| Aniimo | Explanation |
|---|---|
Turbo
|
Turbo gains access to Nimbi Burst. It grants the party up to 30% damage buff and break efficiency for only 10 EP. It can also use Cloud Shield to provide shields for the party. Additionally, Turbo can use its ultimate, Collectible Drop, to provide healing for the party. Turbo can do everything except deal damage, which makes it one of the best universal Support aniimo in the game. |
Prismana Turbo
|
Compared to Turbo, Prismana Turbo gains the Nebula Burst skill, which grants up to a 30% damage buff to all dark attacks for the party. When paired with Nimbi Burst, all dark aniimo can have up to 60% damage buff to all of their attacks. Sacrificing more damage buffs for survivability, Prismana Turbo is one of the best dark Support aniimo in the game. |
Somniwing
|
Somniwing's ability to increase the EP recovery of the team with 0 downtime when using Ethereal Light Wave is remarkable. It can also be used as a reactive skill to remove the projectiles of the enemy. Additionally, Somniwing's EP recovery is not tied to an element which makes it one of the best universal Regen aniimo. |
| Aniimo | Explanation |
|---|---|
Cornet
|
Cornet is the DPS of the Chirpi family and team. It is the aniimo capable of dealing high wind damage to enemies with Wind Bomb Rush, while having access to a fly state using Scream Splitter. This skill makes most ground attacks useless against it. |
Tromber
|
Tromber is the Support of the Chirpi family and team. It is capable of providing critical damage buffs to all allies using Waltz and wind resistance debuff to enemies with Spiral Blade. |
Tubster
|
Tubster is the Break Aniimo of the Chirpi family and team. It is capable of dealing break damage and applying Concerto to allies after a successful break which reduces stamina consumption. |
Eklue
|
Eklue's Judgement Storm trait boosts the entire team’s Wind damage by 20% whenever a skill applies a debuff to a target. Additionally, Target Weakness reduces enemy Wind resistance by 12% at 0 EP. These effects combined makes Eklue one of the best Wind support if Turbo is already in another team. |
Helgon
|
Helgon is a Break Aniimo that requires to be attacked or use its skill, Wind Counter, to counterattack and further increase its break damage. A playstyle revolving around getting hit is easy to achieve in this game because even a small damage can trigger its trait, Counter Strike. |
Gracewing
|
Despite its Heal role, Gracewing excels best in EP recovery when using Phantomfly and Purifying Dance. Thanks to its trait, Flutter Heal, Gracewing can stay in the off-field for the entire fight while still being able to heal the party constantly. |
Beach Cornet
|
Cornet's Beach form gains access to Water Tornado. It lets Cornet cover the water element if you need to use it against an enemy weak to water. However, this form gains higher weakness towards Lightning, while gaining higher resistances to other elements. |
Beach Tromber
|
Tromber's Beach form gains access to Water Tornado. It lets Tromber take more of a DPS role rather than a support one if you need it. However, this form gains higher weakness towards Lightning, while gaining higher resistances to other elements. |
Beach Tubster
|
Tubster's Beach form gains access to Water Tornado. Pick this form, if you prefer Tubster to steal EP, especially in a PVP environment. However, this form gains higher weakness towards Lightning, while gaining higher resistances to other elements. |
Mountain Helgon
|
Helgon's Mountain Form gains nothing new aside from a new visual. It has the same attacks, skills, and stats as Helgon. Despite the name, Mountain Helgon is still primarily a Wind aniimo. |
Mountain Woods Gracewing
|
If you want Gracewing to take a more shield approach, then Mountain Woods form is the best choice. Wind of Regeneration grants up to 12% max HP shield to the party. However, this form gains more weakness, in exchange for more elemental resistance. |
Plateau Turbo
|
Turbo's Plateau form gains nothing new aside from a new element and a new visual. It has the same attacks, skills, and stats as Turbo, however it gains a different set of resistances and weakness. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Turbo is weak at. |
Prismana Cornet
|
Cornet's Prismana form gains access to Lightning Splitter. If you prefer to inflict paralysis on the enemy in exchange for damage buffs then you can use this form instead of the base form. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Cornet is weak at. |
Rainstorm Turbo
|
Rainstorm Turbo gains access to Thunder Bolt. It allows you to exchange one of its skills to deal damage and inflict paralysis on the enemy if you need it. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Turbo is weak at. |
Nighttime Gracewing
|
Gracewing's Nighttime Form gains gains access to Phantom Dance, which further promotes the off-field playstyle of Gracewing. It allows you to automatically cleanse a debuff inflicted on your party every 15s. However, this form gains more weakness, in exchange for additional elemental resistance. |
Sea of Flowers Gracewing
|
Gracewing's Sea of Flowers form gains access to Healing Dance, which places an AoE healing and increases the break resistance of allies inside the field. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Gracewing is weak at. |
| Aniimo | Explanation |
|---|---|
Beach Chirpi
|
Chirpi's Beach form gains access to Water Tornado. It lets Chirpi take more of a DPS role rather than a support one if you need it but we highly recommend not doing it because of its low stats. |
Chirpi
|
Chirpi is the second Support of the Chirpi family and team. It is the last piece of the four member Chirpi team. Despite having the support role, Chirpi's main job is to provide health regeneration for the team with March. It is also capable of reducing the EP of enemies when using Water Tornado. |
Flutternym
|
Flutternym is the Lumin Stage of Gracewing. It loses the ability to restore EP for the party but it can still provide the same healing albeit its stats are lower than Gracewing. |
Highland Cornet
|
Cornet's Highland form gains access to Leaf Tornado. This skill is an overall downgrade compared to Wind Bomb Rush and switching out the Splitter skills is not recommended for Cornet. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Cornet is weak at. |
Highland Tromber
|
Tromber's Highland form gains access to Leaf Tornado. It lets Tromber take more of a DPS role in exchange for losing up to 50% break damage when using the skill. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Tromber is weak at. |
Highland Tubster
|
Tubster's Highland form gains access to Leaf Tornado. It lets Tubster take more of a DPS role but it loses up to 50% break damage when using the skill. We highly recommend not taking this skill especially when Tubster's ideal team cannot create water puddles. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Tubster is weak at. |
Mountain Woods Flutternym
|
If you want Flutternym to take a more shield approach, then Mountain Woods form is the best choice. Wind of Regeneration grants up to 12% max HP shield to the party. However, this form gains more weakness, in exchange for additional elemental resistance. |
Nighttime Flutternym
|
Flutternym's Nighttime Form gains gains access to Phantom Dance, which further promotes the off-field playstyle of Flutternym. It allows you to automatically cleanse a debuff inflicted on your party every 15s. However, this form gains more weakness, in exchange for additional elemental resistance. |
Sea of Flowers Flutternym
|
Flutternym's Sea of Flowers form gains access to Healing Dance, which places an AoE healing and increases the break resistance of allies inside the field. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Flutternym is weak at. |
| Aniimo | Explanation |
|---|---|
Eko
|
Despite being a Lumin Stage of Eklue, Eko retains all the essential skills to buff the wind damage and critical rate of the party. However, it doesn't have access to its Nova Stage's ultimate, which can further increase the team's Wind damage. |
Helmwhelp
|
Helmwhelp is Helgon's Gamma Stage, and it does not have Wind Counter yet. Not having access to Wind Counter loses a lot of break damage for Helmwhelp. |
Nimbi
|
Nimbi is Turbo's Lumin Stage, and it does not have Nimbi Burst yet. All Nimbi can do is provide shield and healing and losing access to Nimbi Burst reduces the overall damage and break of the team. |
Highland Chirpi
|
Chirpi's Highland form gains access to Leaf Tornado. It lets Chirpi take more of a DPS role rather than a support one. It requires a puddle near the area to gain the bonus damage, which is hard to do in Chirpi's ideal team. We highly recommend not doing it, especially when Chirpi has lower than average stats. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Chirpi is weak at. |
Mountain Helmwhelp
|
Helmwhelp's Mountain Form gains nothing new aside from a new visual and lower stats than Helgon. It has the same attacks, skills, and stats as Helmwhelp. Despite the name, Mountain Helmwhelp is still primarily a Wind aniimo. |
Rainstorm Nimbi
|
Nimbi's Rainstorm Form gains access to Thunder Bolt. It lets Nimbi deal less damage but it inflicts Paralysis on the enemy hit by Thunder Bolt. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Turbo is weak at. The way to catch one requires a specific weather in an area which makes it harder to catch one. |
| Aniimo | Explanation |
|---|---|
Jawling
|
Jawling is Helgon's Lumin Stage, and it does not have Wind Counter yet. Not having access to Wind Counter loses a lot of break damage for Jawling. Additionally, Jawling has overall lower stats than Helmwhelp. |
Mountain Jawling
|
Jawling's Mountain Form gains nothing new aside from a new visual and a much lower stats than Helmwhelp. It has the same attacks, skills, and stats as Jawling. Despite the name, Mountain Jawling is still primarily a Wind aniimo. |
Plateau Nimbi
|
Nimbi's Plateau Forn gains nothing new aside from a new element and a new visual. It has the same strength as Nimbi, however it is slightly harder to catch one than a base form Nimbi. You can use this form if you need to tackle enemies that base form Turbo is weak at. |
