Try to target Cyndaquil and Quilava before they have the chance to evolve to Typhlosion ex. You can either try to force them into the Active Spot using Sabrina or Cyrus, or use a Pokemon that can attack the Bench.
Cards That Can Damage the Bench

Typhlosion ex's attack has a chance of discarding a lot of Energy depending on how many successful coin flips it makes. Make sure to have cards that can attach extra Energy in a single turn to replenish the Energy that you lost.
Energy Acceleration and Transfer Cards List

Use Pokemon that have a 2 or less Energy Cost so that you can quickly get your Pokemon attacking again even after losing Energy from Typhlosion ex's attack effect.

In this deck, you will have Altaria and Drampa serve as your attackers, while stocking up on discarded Energy using Rainbow Cave.
Since you will be discarding a lot of Energy in this deck, use Dragonair's Ability to replenish lost Energy to your Active Pokemon. Try to have at least 2 Dragonairs in your Bench so you can keep reattaching 2 Energy onto Mega Rayquaza ex or Drampa.
Meanwhile, the extra Energy that you get from the Energy Zone can be stacked on Mega Rayquaza ex. Mega Rayquaza ex can deal 50 damage per Energy it discards from its card when it attacks, so try to keep stacking Energy until you can OHKO your tankier opponents.
If you ever find yourself needing to retreat your Stage 1 Pokemon like Altaria or Dragonair from the Active Spot, you can use Skyla to safely transfer them to the Bench.
