Iron Valiant and Mega Altaria ex Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Having two Iron Valiant in play allows Iron Crown to attack with 0 Energy. Mega Altaria ex is easy to set up and can deal a lot of damage if you have a full Bench. • Peculiar Plaza removes the retreat cost of all of your Psychic-type Pokemon. Weaknesses: • Iron Crown's damage output relies on the opponent's Bench. |

It is recommended to start with Iron Crown in the Active Spot and Iron Valiant on your Bench. Iron Crown will discourage your opponent from placing Pokemon on their Bench and punish them if they already have. If you manage to place two Iron Valiant on your Bench, Iron Crown can attack without needing any Energy.
Attach a Future Booster Energy Capsule onto your Iron Crown to allow it to deal more damage. This makes it a threatening Pokemon in the early game.
You can then prioritize giving Mega Altaria ex Energy. It is recommended to keep Mega Altaria ex on your Bench to keep it safe until it can sweep the rest of your opponent's Pokemon in the late game. If you have the Peculiar Plaza in play, you can switch your Pokemon freely without needing to consume Energy.

Iron Valiant is best used with another Future Paradox Pokemon, with the best option being Iron Crown. Iron Valiant's ability removes a Colorless Energy cost to all of your Future Paradox Pokemon in play, and Iron Crown's attack requires only two Colorless Energy.
This means that having two Iron Valiant in play allows Iron Crown to attack without needing any Energy.
List of Future Paradox Pokemon

Since Future Paradox Pokemon are used in the Iron Valiant Deck, the Future Booster Energy Capsule is one of the best Pokemon Tools to utilize. This allows your Future Paradox Pokemon to deal an additional 20 damage when attacking the opposing Active Pokemon.

Hydreigon is an excellent counter against the Iron Valiant Deck, since it can one-shot both Iron Valiant and Iron Crown. It can also deal a lot of damage to bulkier threats such as Mega Altaria ex.
Darkness-type and Metal-type decks in general are also good to use against Iron Valiant decks. However, it is not recommended to use decks that require you to fill your Bench, since Iron Crown can use it against you.
Best Hydreigon Decks and Card List

You can use the Field Blower item to disrupt Iron Valiant decks. This can remove the Peculiar Plaza stadium or Future Booster Energy Capsules in play on your opponent's side, which can help make the Iron Valiant deck less threatening.
