This deck relies on two copies of Flygon ex as your only Pokemon, being used to both attack the opponent and tank damage. Cyrus synergizes well with it, as the card allows you to bring Pokemon damaged by Sand Slammer to the Active Spot.
The rest of the deck consists of Trainer Cards that are used to assist Flygon ex. Copycat can be used to help find evolution cards. On the other hand, Lillie and Lucky Ice Pop provide healing.

![]() ![]() ・Protects your Benched Flygon ex from damage, keeping it healthy before it moves to the Active Spot. |

Flygon ex has a relatively high Attack Cost and requires two types of Energy. Before it can attack, you will have to tank hits in the early game.
You may use a Pokemon that can nullify damage from opponents. Alternatively, you may tank attacks with Flygon ex in order to utilize its Sand Slammer Ability and deal chip damage.

The Sand Slammer Ability allows you to damage your opponent's Active and Benched Pokemon in each turn. This damage allows you to use Cyrus, which can bring Pokemon that Flygon ex can KO into the Active Spot.

Flygon ex does not have Energy acceleration options, making it slow to set up. You may use fast and powerful Pokemon to land KOs before it can attack.

You may discard Flygon ex's Energy to prevent it from attacking. Since it needs two different Energy types to attack, this strategy can slow it down immensely.

Decks with Flygon ex can utilize Cyrus to bring Pokemon in KO range to the Active Spot. You may use cards that can heal your Benched Pokemon's HP in order to prevent your opponent from scoring any points.
