Set down Entei ex in the Active Spot and use it as your early game attacker while you build your team in the Bench. If you use the Rainbow Cave stadium, you can discard a Fire Energy, then use Flame Patch to put the discarded energy on Entei ex. This puts Entei ex at 2 Energy in the same turn so you can attack right away.
Build Typhlosion ex in your bench. When needed, switch it to the Active Spot to discard the Energy of your opponent's Active Pokemon.
If you want more supporting damage, consider evolving Typhlosion and use its Ability to inflict Burn.

Use cards that can attach extra Energy to your Pokemon. This will allow you to build Typhlosion ex faster.
Energy Acceleration and Transfer Cards List

Use Pokemon that can inflict Status Effects on your opponent's Active Pokemon. Status Effects can often give you the upperhand in battle, either preventing your opponent from attacking, or inflicting additional damage beween turns.

Use Pokemon that only need 2 Energy or Less to attack. This will make it easy to reattach the Energy that you need to get them attacking again.

Since Typhlosion ex's attack will discard your Pokemon's Energy, be ready with cards that can reattach them so that your attacks aren't interrupted.
