This Hoopa ex deck includes Zoroark ex and Mega Absol ex that can easily be swapped around thanks to Bombirdier's retreat cost reduction.
With all three attackers having low-cost moves, they can apply pressure very early in the match and make it difficult for your opponent to set up. Hoopa ex can even snipe opponents on the Bench for Cyrus to pull and for Zoroark ex to finish off.

Zoroark ex serves as your early game attacker. Using Zorua's Ascension, you can immediately evolve Zorua into Zoroark ex. Zoroark ex's Brutal Bash only costs 1 Darkness Energy, which makes it ready to attack as soon as it is on field. If you have a full bench with Darkness-type Pokemon, Zorua can deal up to 90 damage.
Meanwhile, Mega Absol ex is set up on the Bench. Once ready, you can switch in Absol ex to discard your opponent's Supporter cards, placing them at a greater disadvantage.
Bombirdier is also set up on the bench for its Ability, which reduces the Retreat Cost of Darkness Pokemon by 1 Energy.

Pulsing Aura Zorua's Ascension allows it to instantly evolve into a random evolution line Pokemon that's found within the deck. This means that you can evolve into Zoroark ex even without having the card in your hand.
This is most useful during early game where you can catch opponents off-guard while their Pokemon are still unprepared.

Zoroark ex should go down to a few Grass-type attacks from quick and efficient Grass-type Attackers.
Grass-type Pokemon such as Mega Sceptile ex and Vespiquen ex are recommended to counter Zoroark ex.
List of All Grass Type Pokemon Cards

Bring Grass Pokemon that have high HP and could endure the damage caused by Zoroark ex's attack. With the help of the +20 Grass damage bonus, you will be able to deal an effective counter attack against Zoroark ex after surviving the hit.
