Use Fast Fire-Type Pokemon
You may use Fire-type Pokemon to take advantage of Type matchups. Since Corviknight ex can discard your Energy, it is best to use Pokemon with low Attack Costs.
Mega Blaziken ex and Incineroar ex are good options since they can also deal additional damage by inflicting Burn.
Have Additional Energy Sources
It may be good to have cards that can provide you with additional Energy. This will allow you to attack even if Corviknight ex discards your Energy.
You may use a Trainer Card such as Flame Patch, or Pokemon with Energy-accelerating moves such as Shining Revelry Charizard ex or Moltres ex.
Discard Metal Core Barrier
Metal Core Barrier can reduce the damage of one of your attacks, making it possible for your opponents to survive fatal hits. You may use Guzma to discard this Pokemon Tool in order to attack at full power.

Mega Gardevoir ex is played with Genetic Apex's Mewtwo ex in this deck as a way to cleanly KO Dialga ex and low-HP opponents. Mega Gardevoir ex can consistently set up Mewtwo ex for multiple attacks, and retreat to safety thanks to Peculiar Plaza's Retreat Cost reduction.
Thanks to Gardevoir ex's Energy acceleration capabilities, it can counter Corviknight ex's strategy of discarding your Energy. This way, it allows its allies to keep attacking thanks to the additional Energy it provides.
Meloetta is the deck's ideal starter, as it can easily find you your key setup pieces with its Strange Singing Ability.

This is a flexible deck that revolves around Mega Rising Golurk and its Heavy Rocket attack which can deal up to 180 Damage with only 2 Energy.
The 2 Golett should be the only Basic Pokemon of this deck, and there are 4 Supporters to help you look for the Golurk for evolution.
Since the core consists of only 8 cards, the other 12 cards of the deck can be filled up with different Pokemon from the Pulsing Aura Expansion, fulfilling the requirements of the Battle Task.
Just make sure to only add Stage 1 and Stage 2 Pokemon so that you are guaranteed a Golett in your starting hand and with Poke Ball. Additionally, only add those with Retreat Costs of 3 or more to empower Golurk's Heavy Rocket.
