Ruler of the Skies (B4) released on July 29th, 2026 for Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket. This expansion prominently features Mega Rayquaza ex. Read on for a list of all cards in the set, and more!
List of Contents
We speculate that Hoopa ex will be the set's new top threat thanks to its inexpensive Attack Cost and synergy with Deceptive Needle. Clear Veil can protect your Pokemon from effects of your opponent's Attacks, most notably PD Espeon's Sleep, and Mega Blaziken ex's Burn.
Mega Sharpedo ex also has the potential to enable Chien-Pao ex or other Water-types with Turbo Shark's Energy acceleration. Mega Gallade ex can deal a solid 150 damage if you played a Supporter card on your turn. Wally helps with your Pokemon's hefty Attack Costs, but can only provide Colorless Energy.
New Baby Pokemon, Mime Jr. allows you to shuffle and draw without the need for an Energy attachment.
Absol has a cheap-costing and powerful Attack in Enhanced Blade, which lets it deal 50 if it has a Pokemon Tool attached. Mega Metagross ex can be loaded up with lots of Energy so that it can deal huge amounts of damage. Dragonair synergizes with Mega Rayquaza ex, allowing it to use Mega Burst in consecutive turns. New Stadium cards in the set, Soothing Shore and Rainbow Cave synergize with Water-types and Dragon-types respectively.

Ruler of the Skies released on July 29, 2026. It is the twentieth overall expansion following the B3b set, Everyday Wonders.
When Is The Next Expansion Set To Release?

Ruler of the Skies, which uses the code B4, is the eighth major expansion following Pulsing Aura in Pokemon TCG Pocket and highlights Mega Rayquaza as it's featured Pokemon.
This set was first announced ahead of the B3b set, Everyday Wonders release.
According to information from the official site, starting with Ruler of the Skies, you will be able to share your decks with other players using 2D pattern codes. This is similar to 2D Pattern Codes they've implemented to allow for friend requests and private battles.
Another long-requested feature will also be added. Cards that appear in multiple booster packs will now be registered in the Card Dex for every pack they belong to. This also applies to cards you already own. This is particularly useful for cards that appear in multiple packs like Old Amber and many other cards in Deluxe Pack ex (A4b).
Lastly, and most excitingly, it appears that if you meet certain conditions while opening a booster pack, your next pack from the same expansion will now be guaranteed to contain a 4-Diamond or higher-rarity card. This implies an implementation of a pity system that will make sure people aren't without exs for too long.
With the new expansion, new decks featuring the new Ruler of the Skies cards are added as Solo Battles in game! We'll add guides for the Expert Battles here soon!
