The best Pokemon to have in your Active Spot at the start is Moltres ex with the Rocky Helmet tool attached. Ideally, you'll have Numel and Victini on your Bench as well.
Use Inferno Dance to set up Numel, which can be evolved into Mega Camerupt ex as soon as you can. If your Inferno Dance coin flips aren't favorable, you can use Victini's Victory Star Ability to redo your coin flips once per turn.
Once Mega Camerupt ex has been set up, you can use it to sweep. Since you can't choose who to target with Mega Camerupt ex, make sure to keep it healthy with the Pokemon Center Lady and Lucky Ice Pop if it's being threatened by the opponent's Active Pokemon.

Since Mega Camerupt ex needs 4 Energy in order to use its attack, it's ideal to have Moltres ex in your deck to help set it up faster. You may also have Victini in your deck to give Moltres better chances of getting good results from its Inferno Dance coin flips.

Once Mega Camerupt ex is all set up, it becomes easy to sweep with it. Although you cannot choose your target when using Mega Camerupt ex's attack, most Pokemon can get easily knocked out by it, since it deals 160 damage and can hit Benched Pokemon.

Mega Camerupt ex can take some time to set up, so you can use strong, fast-paced Pokemon that are easy to set up to try to deal with the opponent before they can get going.

Since Mega Camerupt ex can attack any Pokemon, whether Active or Benched, at random, you can keep your frailer Pokemon on the Bench and equip them with the Protective Poncho tool.
There are also some Abilities such as Wartortle's Shell Shield that naturally protects them from damage while on the Bench. They'll lose their immunity once moved to the Active Spot, but you can use the temporary protection to buy yourself some time and put yourself in a more favorable position.

Since Mega Camerupt ex decks mainly use Mega Camerupt ex and Moltres ex as their Active Pokemon, Pom-Pom Oricorio can avoid taking damage thanks to its ability.
If the opponent does not have a non-ex Pokemon, Pom-Pom Oricorio can even sweep despite having a relatively low HP and weak attack. Just make sure that there is no Pokemon on your Bench that can be damaged by Mega Camerupt ex.
