Once you have an attacking Pokemon in the Active Spot, immediately set up your other attackers in the Bench. This is to prepare in case you need to make a strategic retreat, or get your Active Pokemon forced out by Vaporeon ex's Frozen Flow.

Use Lightning Pokemon that are quick to set up and can deal impactful damage. The sooner you can get Pokemon on the offense, the sooner you can claim advantage, especially during the early game.
Having lower Energy costs also makes them easy to set up in Bench in case you are forced to switch out your Active Pokemon. You can also consider having 2 Pom-Pom Style Oricorio cards in your deck, so you can switch between them against Vaporeon ex.

Since you will be dealing with Vaporeon ex's Ability, you should consider bringing cards that can lower Retreat Cost so you can avoid losing Energy and easily switch Pokemon when needed.

You need to watch out for Drizzile and Inteleon's Swift Shot, which can deal extra damage to your Active Pokemon when Sobble or Drizzile evolve.
Try to take out Sobble if you can before they have the chance to evolve and use their Ability.

While using Pom-Pom Oricorio to nullify attacks from ex Pokemon, accelerate Lightning Energy to Genetic Apex Magneton with its Ability. Once set up, evolve Magneton to Crimson Blaze Magnezone.
Promote your fully-set up Magnezone to the Active Spot since it will be your main attacker. Magnezone's Mirror Shot will force the opponent to flip a coin whenever they attack. When flipping Tails, the attack does not happen. Taking advantage of this disruption will be key to victory.

This is a flexible deck that revolves around Mega Rising Golurk and its Heavy Rocket attack which can deal up to 180 Damage with only 2 Energy.
The 2 Golett should be the only Basic Pokemon of this deck, and there are 4 Supporters to help you look for the Golurk for evolution.
Since the core consists of only 8 cards, the other 12 cards of the deck can be filled up with different Pokemon from the Pulsing Aura Expansion, fulfilling the requirements of the Battle Task.
Just make sure to only add Stage 1 and Stage 2 Pokemon so that you are guaranteed a Golett in your starting hand and with Poke Ball. Additionally, only add those with Retreat Costs of 3 or more to empower Golurk's Heavy Rocket.
