Team Rocket's Ambition (B4a) was released on August 26, 2026 for Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket. This expansion revolves around Team Rocket and introduces Owner Cards. Read on for a list of all known cards in the set, and more!
List of Contents
The best card from Team Rocket's Ambition is Team Rocket's Boss, a versatile card that allows you to check your opponent's hand, but also put down Pokemon onto their Bench.
Team Rocket's Slowking ex has a powerful attack that only uses 2 Energy. Mad Kinesis synergizes with its Evil Inspiration Ability, which fills up your hand.
Team Rocket's Weezing ex is also capable of inflicting multiple status effects when it evolves and attacks, making it an offensive threat that uses little resources. Team Rocket's Weezing synergizes with Team Rocket's Magmar, who can deal up increased damage for each status effect on the opponent's Active Pokemon.
Team Rocket's Moltres ex is a new ex threat that has the ability to set itself up with Heat Charged, and its ability to deal huge damage with Netherwing, which deals 130 damage. Team Rocket's Articuno ex can also see play when played in a deck with Misty. Happiny is a new Baby Pokemon that can enable offense with Chubby Cheer.
Team Rocket's Thieving Machine and Team Rocket's Goo-zooka are both great new utility item cards from the set that can be used to put you ahead in the game or put the opponent behind in momentum.

Team Rocket's Ambition was released on August 26, 2026. It is the twenty-first overall expansion after Ruler of the Skies.

Team Rocket's Ambition, which uses the code B4a, is the thirteenth themed expansion following Everyday Wonders in Pokemon TCG Pocket and revolves around Team Rocket-themed cards.

Many of the cards shown in Team Rocket Ambition's trailer are prefaced with the text “Team Rocket's [...]”. Pokemon cards that indicate an owner like these are sometimes referred to as Owner's Pokemon. It's important to note that these Pokemon cards are treated separately from Pokemon cards that aren't Owner's Pokemon. As such, a card like Team Rocket's Persian can only evolve from Team Rocket's Meowth.
It has also been shown that there are Trainer Cards that specifically interact with Team Rocket Owner Cards, such as Team Rocket's Thieving Machine.
Along with this expansion, new decks featuring the new Team Rocket's Ambition cards were added as Solo Battles in game!
In addition to B4a's release in-game, a game that can be played on a special website called Team Rocket’s Ambition: The Great Puzzle Challenge is now available!
It involves solving puzzles during the campaign period, that rewards serial codes for pack hourglasses in-game.
