Removing status with various means can help you in this matchup. These include evolving your Pokemon, using Lum Berry to remove Poison, or Pokemon Center Lady to heal your Pokemon up.
Comfey is also noteworthy because of Flower Shield which gives all Pokemon with Psychic Energy attached immunity from status conditions, limiting Magmar's damage potential.

This Team Rocket's Weezing ex deck contains Pokemon that can quickly get their attackers set-up. However, it's worth noting that other than Weezing, the Pokemon in the deck are all relatively frail.
It should be easy to knock out Weezing and other opposing Pokemon with a single powerful move. Both Rampardos and a Mega Lucario ex with an extra Fighting Energy can easily pressure Team Rocket's Weezing ex or kmock out Magmar.

Mega Diancie ex naturally synergizes with Mega Gardevoir ex who is able to attach multiple Energy with Fantasia Force. Meloetta can help find Psychic Pokemon from the deck and speed up your set up. Xerneas can be replaced with Comfey if you find yourself unlucky with your coin flips.
If one of your ex Pokemon has taken a significant amount of damage, you may heal them up with Diantha. However, you can also replace Peculiar Plaza and Diantha with Pokemon Center Lady to heal off all your Special Conditions.

This deck makes use of Hitmontop as an early-game attacker while Rampardos gets set up on the Bench. Rare Candy can be used to quickly set up Rampardos for an explosive 130 damage Head Smash as early as turn 2. Meanwhile, Lucario mainly functions as support on the Bench, boosting the power of your Pokemon by 20. This boost can increase to 40 when there are two Lucarios in play.
The deck runs a single copy of Cranidos who has an inexpensive Attack, and also benefits from Lucario's damage buff.

This deck's win condition is inflicting Status Conditions to fuel Team Rocket's Magmar's Derisive Roasting. Each Status Condition on the opponent's Active Pokemon adds 50 damage, enough to blow up even bulky ex Pokemon. Team Rocket's Weezing's Boiler Smog, Team Rocket's Master Plan, and Poison Barb are your main tools for applying those conditions.
Ideally you'll start with Happiny on the Active Spot, since Chubby Cheer adds +20 damage to your attacks next turn. Team Rocket's Koffing is also an okay start, as Reverse Thrust lets it retreat for free so a different Pokemon can stay on Active. TR Magmar is the least ideal start, but can still be worked around. You'll want to save it purely for the finishing blow. Whichever Pokemon is Active going into your opponent's turn, equip it with Poison Barb.
