This deck is played by using damage boosting cards to amplify Mega Lucario ex's damage.
Using the combination of Space-Time Smackdown Lucario, Korrina, and Arena of Antiquity, Mega Lucario ex deals an additional 120 damage with 3 Fighting Energy attached, totalling 210 damage. This will be enough to OHKO almost any Pokemon.
You can also use Hitmonlee to target Pokemon in the Bench and force them into the Active Spot with Cyrus, making easy targets for Mega Lucario ex.

Use cards that can buff damage to add onto Mega Lucario ex's attack damage. If you focus on building up Mega Lucario ex's damage, you may even be able to OHKO most Pokemon.

Mega Lucario ex is an incredibly tanky card with 190 HP, so try to target Riolu before it has a chance to evolve. Even if you are not able to defeat Riolu, you will have reduced enough HP to be able to defeat Mega Lucario ex in fewer turns.

Given how quickly Mega Lucario ex can be set up, you will need Psychic Pokemon that are also quick to set up, but can deal impactful damage. You already get a +20 Psychic damage bonus from Mega Lucario ex's weakness, so Pokemon that don't cost too much Energy but can still land decently is key.

Mega Lucario ex will get +50 bonus damage if it has at least one extra Fighting Energy. You can use cards that can discard the Energy of the opponent's Active Pokemon to take away their advantage.
