Dragonite and Raging Bolt's Energy Requirement

Dragonite works well with Raging Bolt because both require Water and Lightning Energy to use their Attacks. Use Dragonite in the mid-game to score KOs, then aim for a late-game Professor Sada to Raging Bolt and score a KO.

Dragonair can set itself up with Sky's Blessing, opening an opportunity for a Dragonite or Dragonite ex attack the following turn.

How to Beat Raging Bolt Decks

Hand Disruption

Because Raging Bolt decks require lots of set up, hand disruption can effectively take them out of the game. By disrupting their hands, they may fail to find key pieces to their set up such as Supporter cards or important evolution cards.
