Terapagos ex and Darkrai Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Starting Plains also allows Igglybuff to survive for longer in the early game. • The Igglybuff and Darkrai combo can stall the opponent while Terapagos ex tries to get 3 different Energy types. • Darkrai synergizes with Igglybuff, who is able to put the opponent's Active Pokemon to Sleep. Weaknesses: • Lack of Energy acceleration makes Terapagos ex a bit difficult to set up. • Prism Impact's damage boost heavily relies on RNG. • Prone to bad starts if you open with Darkrai. |
Terapagos ex Deck
|
Strengths:
• Terapagos ex can have up to 6 different Energy types, increasing Prism Impact's damage to 200. Weaknesses: • Having 5 different Basic Pokemon in the deck makes it difficult to draw Terapagos ex. • Baby Pokemon are easy targets for Sabrina and Cyrus, as well as sniper cards like Greninja and Chien-Pao. |

This Terapagos ex deck aims to maximize Prism Impact's damage by having 6 different Energy types in its loadout. However, with 5 different Basic Pokemon in the deck, note that you might not draw Terapagos ex until later in the game (if at all) even with all the search cards included.

![]() ![]() • Replace both Lucky Ice Pop cards with 2 Protective Poncho to protect your Benched Pokemon from snipers like Greninja and Chien-Pao ex. |
![]() Leaf (A1a 068) |
![]() ![]() • If you started with Terapagos ex, Leaf allows you to immediately use a Baby Pokemon to accelerate Energy by moving Terapagos ex to the Bench. |

Terapagos ex deals increased damage with Prism Impact for each unique type of Energy attached to it. Having 3 different Energy types set to your deck allows Terapagos ex to deal up to 140 damage with its attack.

Adding Baby Pokemon that are also Energy accelerators gives Terapagos ex access to even more Energy types, which translates to even higher Prism Impact damage. Just don't forget to edit your deck's Energy Zone to only include Energy types that your Baby Pokemon can't provide.

Other than being able to deal an additional 20 damage per attack, Fighting-type decks are a bane to Terapagos ex due to how fast they can set up and deal huge damage with low-cost attacks.
They can also utilize Arena of Antiquity and Korrina, so even non-ex, Fighting-type Pokemon can make quick work of any Terapagos ex deck variants.
