Miraidon ex and Magnezone ex rely on gathering enough Energy to deal great damage. This means that they need at least a few turns to set up.
You may use Energy-efficient Fighting-type Pokemon to counter your opponents. It is best to use non-ex Pokemon to avoid being walled by Pom-Pom Oricorio.

You may discard your opponent's Energy to prevent it from attacking. This can also remove sources of Energy for Miraidon ex to take from.

You may land KOs before Magnezone ex is fully evolved in order to avoid its powerful attacks. This can also prevent Miraidon ex from taking its Energy.
If its pre-evolutions are in the Bench you may use Sabrina or Cyrus to bring them to the Active Spot. This will allow you to attack them and knock them out.

| Mega Rising (B1) | Golett x2 Golurk x2 |
| Promo-A | Poke Ball x 1 (Promo-A Pack) Professor's Research x 2 (Promo-A Pack) |
| Paradox Drive (B3a) | Any 12 Stage 1 or Stage 2 Pokemon Cards with 3 or more Retreat Costs. |
This is a flexible deck that revolves around Mega Rising Golurk and its Heavy Rocket attack which can deal up to 180 Damage with only 2 Energy.
The 2 Golett should be the only Basic Pokemon of this deck, and there are 4 Supporters to help you look for the Golurk for evolution.
Since the core consists of only 8 cards, the other 12 cards of the deck can be filled up with different Pokemon from the Paradox Drive Expansion, fulfilling the requirements of the Battle Task.
Just make sure to only add Stage 1 and Stage 2 Pokemon so that you are guaranteed a Golett in your starting hand and with Poke Ball. Additionally, only add those with Retreat Costs of 3 or more to empower Golurk's Heavy Rocket.

You may fill your deck with the cards listed above in order to clear the Battle Task. You may use up to two of each card for the deck.
If you are missing cards that are above Stage 1, you may opt to use Great Tusk or Klawf. However, keep in mind that they may affect your starting hand. If this happens, we recommend restarting the battle until you get Golett in your starting hand.
They can also work as Basic attackers as needed for extra firepower. Just keep in mind that Great Tusk will damage any Golett you may be preparing in your Bench.
