This deck focuses solely on Team Rocket's Articuno ex, attacking and winning with it. Everything else in the deck is geared towards supporting Team Rocket's Articuno ex.
Misty is meant to help accelerate Water Energy from the Energy Zone with successful coin flips, allowing you to use your attacks earlier.
Meanwhile, cards like Irida and Lucky Ice Pop are meant to help Team Rocket's Articuno ex heal up.
If you want to mitigate the effect of Team Rocket Articuno ex's Hailstorm, which does 20 damage to all your Bench Pokemon after you use the attack, you can deploy a Soothing Shore Stadium, since it heals 20 HP for any Pokemon with a Water Energy attached at the end of each turn.

The Soothing Shore Stadium will help recover 20 HP to every Pokemon in your deck with Water Energy attached for every turn. This will help mitigate the damage from Team Rocket's Articuno ex's Hailstorm, which deals 20 damage to your Benched Pokemon every time you use it.

Use Misty for the chance of attaching extra Water Energy onto Team Rocket's Articuno ex for every successful coin flip. If used successfully, you can get Team Rocket's Articuno ex to attack early on and easily sweep through your opponent's deck before they are ready.
Energy Acceleration and Transfer Cards List

Take advantage of healing items such as Irida and the Lucky Ice Pop to maintain Team Rocket's Articuno ex's HP.
HP Recovery and Healing Cards List

Team Rocket's Articuno ex is weak against Metal Pokemon. Since it cannot switch out to any other type of Pokemon, you should use Metal Pokemon such as Mega Mawile ex or Mega Scizor ex who have the potential to deal massive Metal damage.

Inflict Status Effects on Team Rocket's Articuno ex to give yourself the upperhand in battle. If you are facing against a solo deck, Team Rocket's Articuno ex will have a difficult time retreating, and will be forced to waste its resources to remove the status effect. Even if it does switch out, it will cost it 2 Colorless Energy to retreat, which can eliminate its set-up for Hailstorm.

If Soothing Stadium is at play, use cards like the Field Blower to discard it. Otherwise, try to put down your own Stadium card before your opponent gets the chance.
