Koraidon ex and Darkrai Deck
|
Strengths:
• Koraidon ex's Ability allows it to start attacking on the turn it comes in if you have enough Energy on the board. • Darkrai synergizes with Igglybuff, who is able to put the opponent's Active Pokemon to Sleep. Weaknesses: • Prone to bad starts if you open with Darkrai. |

Darkrai and its Bad Dreams Ability synergizes with Igglybuff's Sleepy Lullaby which puts the defending Pokemon to Sleep.
This is a powerful early-game strategy that's usable as early as turn 1.
Koraidon ex can score KOs in the late-game. With Igglybuff and Darkrai being the main offensive threats in the early game, and Koraidon ex for the late game, this deck has an advantage at any point in the game.

This is a powerful one-two combo that can deal as much as 30 to 50 damage as early as your first turn. Besides the high damage, the disruptiveness of Sleep also plays a huge part and can swing a game's momentum in your favor.
You can also commit Energy to Darkrai or Igglybuff, to have the Energy ready for when Koraidon ex enters the battle.

Quicker Psychic-types can give Koraidon ex a difficult time. These Pokemon are able to quickly score big damage on your Koraidon ex, taking away any advantage it could have earned.

Protecting your Pokemon from Sleep can often spell victory against decks that rely on Igglybuff and Darkrai. Teal Mask Ogerpon can severely limit the damage that Igglybuff can dish out, while Pokemon Center Lady can cure a Pokemon that's asleep and position it to KO an Igglybuff.
