Focus on Knocking Out Combee or Vespiquen ex

This deck lacks firepower outside of Vespiquen ex and the bonus damage from its Chase Order. The main purpose of the rest of the Pokemon in this deck is to be discarded and enhance Chase Order.

Taking out Vespiquen ex or the Combee before they evolve will make it easier to clean up the remaining Pokemon.

Remove the Fragrant Forest

Another way to counter this deck is to target its Basic Pokemon, either by removing Fragrant Forest or directly targeting the Basic Pokemon on the Bench using cards like Hoopa ex and Noivern.

Using only one Energy, Hoopa ex can weaken a Combee on the Bench for Hydreigon to finish off later. Be sure to always attach a Deceptive Needle on your Active Pokemon for the additional tick damage at the end of your turns.

Mega Rayquaza ex

Have either Altaria or Drampa stall the opponent while having Rainbow Cave and Dragonair accelerate Energy to them. Keep Mega Rayquaza ex on the Bench until it can gain 4 Energy to guarantee a KO on a Leaf Cape-protected Vespiquen ex.
