Magnezone ex and its teammates are weak against Fighting-type Pokemon, so these are best used against this deck. Fighting types that can set up quickly such as Rampardos or Mega Lucario ex are especially good to use, so that you can knock out Magnezone ex before it can finish setting up.
Best Fighting Type Deck and Cards Tier List

You may discard Magnezone ex's Energy to prevent it from attacking. Since Magnezone ex's attack discards a Lightning Energy naturally, it may have a hard time gathering enough Energy to consistently attack.

You may land KOs before Magnezone ex is fully evolved in order to avoid its powerful attacks.
If its pre-evolutions are in the Bench you may use Sabrina or Cyrus to bring them to the Active Spot. This will allow you to attack them and knock them out.

Chien-Pao ex is played with Baxcalibur in this deck. The deck's main objective is to accelerate Energy to Chien-Pao ex and KO threats before they are able to set up.
Chien-Pao ex in particular has a low HP of 130, so Giant Cape and Starting Plains are needed to give it extra staying power.
Chien-Pao ex and Baxcalibur are not weak to Lightning-type Pokemon, making them good counters against Magnezone ex.

Alolan Ninetales ex becomes even more disruptive when played with Crawdaunt and its Unruly Claw Ability. Opponents can be denied Energy completely with Binding Snow and Unruly Claw.
Training Area allows your Stage 1 Pokemon to deal an extra 10 damage, which may come in handy for scoring 2HKOs.
Because this is a Stage 1 deck, Sightseer gives it added consistency in finding your Stage 1 Pokemon.

This is a flexible deck that revolves around Mega Rising Golurk and its Heavy Rocket attack which can deal up to 180 Damage with only 2 Energy.
The 2 Golett should be the only Basic Pokemon of this deck, and there are 4 Supporters to help you look for the Golurk for evolution.
Since the core consists of only 8 cards, the other 12 cards of the deck can be filled up with different Pokemon from the Pulsing Aura Expansion, fulfilling the requirements of the Battle Task.
Just make sure to only add Stage 1 and Stage 2 Pokemon so that you are guaranteed a Golett in your starting hand and with Poke Ball. Additionally, only add those with Retreat Costs of 3 or more to empower Golurk's Heavy Rocket.
