Use Fast Lightning-Type Pokemon

Igglybuff can put your Active Pokemon to sleep in the early turns, making them vulnerable to Darkrai's Ability and attacks from Milotic ex. It is best to use fast Pokemon in order to deal damage as early as possible. Lightning-types are preferred, as they have the Type advantage against Milotic ex.

List of All Lightning Type Pokemon Cards

Use Evolved Lightning-Types as Finishers

It is best to also have Stage 1 or Stage 2 Pokemon as a late-game attacker so that they can heal from Sleep by evolving. These evolved Pokemon also have a higher damage output, allowing you to KO Milotic ex faster.

Bring Cards That Heal Status Effects

The opponent's deck revolves around inflicting the Sleep Status Effect. This can be difficult to deal with, as it leaves your Active Pokemon unable to attack or retreat.

It is best to have a few healing items on hand to heal Sleep in case you get unlucky with your coin flips.

KO Feebas Early

Milotic ex is the most threatening Pokemon in the opponent's deck due to its Energy acceleration abilities as well as its higher damage output. You may want to KO Feebas before it evolves. If it is in the Bench, you may use Sabrina or Cyrus to move it to the Active Spot.

Small Balloon gives your Pokemon flexibility in switching out. Carbink allows you to generate Energy for its allies. It also allows the Puppy Pile Pokemon to stay safe in the Bench before they switch in to attack in the next turn.
